  I went in to get my glasses fixed, and Raj did an excellent job. He was very helpful, professional, and took the time to fix them properly. I really appreciate the great service and friendly attitude. Highly recommend Raj for his excellent work!

  I’ve now had three frustrating experiences at this location involving long wait times, poor communication, and a lack of preparation for appointments. My first visit was July 30 at 10:30 a.m. for an eye exam and glasses. I waited about 30 minutes just to begin my exam because staff were struggling to get my file together while helping other customers. After my exam, it took another hour and a half just to receive a quote for my glasses. Multiple employees were going back and forth helping me, sometimes repeating work the other had already done. I ended up spending about 2 hours in the store and missed one of my classes because I desperately needed new glasses. The quote included their summer promotion, and I was specifically told the sale ended August 4. I told them I would return on August 4 to purchase the glasses and was told that was fine. When I returned, I waited another approximately 30 minutes while they redid my quote, only to be told the promotion had actually ended the day before. Despite the incorrect information coming from the store, the promotion was not honoured, and I ended up paying around $100 more. I later had a contact lens consultation, which I will say went very well. The employee was considerate of the fact that I had work afterward and made sure I was finished on time. Unfortunately, one lens was not clear enough, so I needed another fitting with a different prescription. Last week I called to rebook and clearly explained that I needed a follow-up fitting to try another prescription. I was booked for today at 12:30 p.m. I arrived early, checked in, and was told to wait. At 12:50, I was still waiting despite there only being two other customers and around four employees in the store. I finally went to the front and asked how much longer the wait would be. I was asked for my name and told someone would be with me shortly. At 12:55, after approximately 25 minutes of waiting, an employee finally came over and told me that my contact lens trials had not even arrived yet. Apparently, they had been ordered the same day my appointment was booked. This was especially frustrating. Why book an appointment before knowing the lenses would arrive? Why wasn’t the order checked before I came in? And why did I have to wait 25 minutes before anyone realized my appointment couldn’t even happen? The employee who explained the situation was kind and offered additional free trial lenses, which I appreciated. However, after several visits with similar issues, this feels like a larger problem with organization and communication rather than a one-time mistake. I would strongly recommend a better system for preparing for scheduled appointments, checking patient files/orders beforehand, and keeping customers informed about delays. I understand mistakes happen, but the cumulative experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Leaving a generous 2 stars.
