Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.
3D scanning technology (OCT)
At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

Negein and Maryam were very professional and attentive. They helped me through the process of selecting 2 pairs of glasses and taught me something new about the fit on my face. It was very interesting as I’ve ordered glasses before and never understood the how the sizing worked for face type. Thank you both.

Negein was incredibly helpful and went through pricing and each item meant and she did her best to meet my needs at the best price possible.
Amira was also incredibly helpful and made sure that I got the best glasses for my prescription. We ended up changing frames to ensure this.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for good quality glasses at a good price

I had a great experience with Dr. Dayapreet Kaur Dhaliwal. She was very thorough during my eye exam and took the time to explain everything clearly. I really appreciated how professional and caring she was throughout the appointment.
Samantha Tran was amazing in helping me learn how to wear contact lenses for the first time. She was patient, encouraging, and explained everything step by step. She made the whole process easy and comfortable :)
Thank you both for the wonderful care and experience!

I purchased a pair of glasses with a Specsavers frame last year. After only a few months of use, the frame caused a significant skin rash and allergic reaction, particularly around the temple arms where the frame comes into contact with the skin.
I returned to the store to report the issue, and one of the managers instructed me to see a doctor and obtain medical documentation. It took several months to navigate the healthcare system, get a referral to an allergist, and receive confirmation that the frame was likely causing the reaction. The allergist also requested information about the materials used in the frame.
When I returned to the store with the doctor’s documentation, a different manager refused to take any responsibility, declined to offer a replacement or any meaningful solution, and would not provide details about the materials used in the frame.
The entire process was frustrating, time-consuming, and resulted in a waste of healthcare resources with no resolution. What concerns me most is the lack of transparency and customer support when a legitimate health issue is raised.
For anyone considering Specsavers because of the low prices, my experience suggests there may be a reason those prices are lower. Saving money upfront is not worth it if the product quality, materials, and after-sales support fail to meet reasonable expectations.
