  We purchased a stairlift in 2024 from 101 Mobility (Vaughan/York location) for my elderly parents, who rely on it due to serious back issues. Unfortunately, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. The unit has been consistently unreliable for approximately 1.5 years, requiring multiple service visits. Each time it is “fixed,” it only works temporarily before failing again. Most recently, technicians attended twice in one week, and the unit is still not functioning properly. Even more concerning has been the experience with the local owner. Communication has been dismissive and, at one point, my elderly parents were told not to contact him again — despite the unit still being under warranty and not working. This has left them without a dependable accessibility device in their own home. We have escalated this matter to corporate and filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario. Given the nature of the product, this situation is both serious and urgent. We strongly encourage others to proceed with caution when considering this location, particularly for essential accessibility equipment.

  I am totally satisfied with the job. I must highlight the fact that communication was not lacking as we navigate the between the manufacturers, engineers, and TSSA Representative. Great jobs guys 👍🏾

  Eldon went above and beyond to make sure my father got exactly the lift chair he needed and he loaned us one while we waited for the new chair. Can't say enough about how fantastic it was to work with Eldon. Very highly recommend!
