Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

Just visited Specsavers at their new location at Dufferin and Steeles. Received attention right away and had my vision checked out by an optometrist who informed me that I would need a new prescription for my glasses. I was then shown new frames and chose 2. Another person then fitted me up and took numerous measurements which were checked by a 3rd person.

First and last time going to Specsavers. Went into this location August 8th to buy glasses. Was told glasses would take 3 weeks which was fine. Monday August 31st (over 3 weeks later no communication) I called and was told glasses were in transit should arrive Sept 1st or 2nd. On Sept 3rd I called back again (still no communication) was told the original pair that was in transit were made wrong and they need to start over and would take another week. Almost 5 weeks for a pair of glasses. No communication, no apology, no customer service. As a lenscrafters customer, I thought I would give Specsavers a try. DO NOT make the mistake I made. Never again!!!

This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
