Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

About a month ago I was out with my elderly mom, exploring the Bloor West Village area. I had taken with me two pairs of glasses I had purchased at a shop on Bayview. The glasses had not been fitted properly when I picked them up and I was hoping to find a glasses shop that would adjust them for me. Well, Specsavers came to the rescue! While my mom shopped at the green grocers next door, I popped into the shop and asked if they are willing to adjust glasses that were not purchased at their shop. Sehrish, who greeted me, said that they would be happy to do that. Well, she went beyond my expectations in taking the time to ensure the glasses fit comfortably. I had metal pieces at the nose which she immediately identified as the reason one of the pairs of glasses was uncomfortable. She suggested she replace the metal with a gentle silicone "comfort bridge" instead. Well, that was just what I needed! She manipulated the metal pieces, fitted them with new silicone pieces, and bingo! My new glasses now are the most comfortable pair I own!
As for the 2nd pair of glasses: they are a hard acrylic, but were too loose on my face. She heated them up and manipulated them in a way that they now hug my face comfortably. They look and feel great!
Sehrish was absolutely lovely throughout this process. She was kind, made it seem like it was effortless, and she knew what she was doing with each, very different, pair of glasses. Based on her expertise, her pleasant demeanor, and her professionalism, I highly recommend this glasses shop and will go to them in future. Their customer service alone is an absolute stand-out!

Had an amazing experience here at spec saver bloor, Was greeted well and taken care of immediately, Dr Gill was super nice and very knowledgeable it what he does and explained everything to me clearly. Dr Gill also took time to answer my questions which made me feel well taken care of. After the appointment Amret supported me in looking through possible options for glasses, she took the time and explained very thing to me throughly and kindly. I’m going to be honey I always get nervous coming in to get my eyes checked and the whole team made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I will be coming here on the regular for sure, and highly recommend this place!

I went there today for an eye exam. Let me start off by saying that Dr. Soufi is truly amazing. What a personable, kind hearted man. The entire visit was nothing but smooth and easy. Their store is clean and very welcoming. The girls at the front are so attentive and informative. They helped me out so much, answering all my questions patiently especially the Filipino woman at the front (sorry I forgot her name). She was so kind and sweet. This is definitely my go to spot now. Highly recommend 10/10.

I visited the Bloor Street store today to find out if the frame I had broken accidentally, could be replaced with an identical one. Given my plans to travel abroad in the next few days , there was some urgency to my inquiry. Sehrish, who had helped me and my partner with the purchase of glasses about 18 months ago, immediately stepped up and went on a search for a frame that could accommodate my special lenses. Lo and behold, after about 10-15 minutes she came back with an identical frame and my lenses firmly accommodated in their new “home”. As always, Sehrish conducted herself in the most courteous, kind and helpful manner - a real professional with a plethora of experience and technical know-how. I am extremely grateful to her and her equally courteous colleagues for going out of their way to help me out expeditiously in a tricky and potentially stressful situation. Incredibly, there was no charge for any of the services rendered at the store. I am delighted to offer Sehrish, her colleagues and Specsavers my unconditional recommendation.
