Two months ago, I placed an online order from Ray Ban for pick-up in-store at the LensCrafters Eaton Centre location. The checkout process was extremely misleading, as it stated the glasses were "in stock" at the store when they clearly were not. Furthermore, it took over a month to arrive, which forced me to purchase them elsewhere since I could no longer wait.
To make matters worse, I never received any notification stating that the order had arrived at the store from Lenscrafters nor from Ray Ban. Because over 14 days have passed without a pick-up, this order should have been processed for a return and full refund automatically. Despite this, I have yet to receive any update or confirmation regarding my money being returned.
I wasted my time and went to the store multiple times! They do not know anything about this!

I am truly amazed by the excellent service I received for my two children and myself. All of the staff went above and beyond the expectations to provide excellent customer service together with a personal touch. The store manager Roman, the store associate Rocio and the optician Simin all worked together and treated us with dignaty and respect despite being a low income family. They were all so friendly, fast and efficient, showing excellent attention to detail making sure we were happy with our selections. Many Thanks Lucinda Johnson

I had an excellent experience with Shivam at LensCrafters Eaton Centre. His customer service was second to none. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to help me find the right prescription sunglasses. He gave me great advice on the different options and helped me choose a style that really suited my face and the look I was going for. I never felt rushed or pressured at any point. Shivam made the whole experience easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

Went in for a new pair of lenses to frames I had bought at lens crafters. They asked for $730 for a pair of progressive lines or suggested I get the same frame new and lenses for $750. I walked 100 ft down to Bailey Nelson. They offered me the same lenses for $314 and actually helped me replace the lenses but a second frame and second lenses for $724
The sales person at lens crafters was clearly working on commission. Was rude. Was pushy. She got emotional when I showed her my previous invoice for the same glasses which I had bought new for $550 frames and lens at the same store three years prior.
Don’t waste time at Lens Crafters, go somewhere honest.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
