I had arrived 15-20 minutes before my scheduled eye exam, and immediately I was greeted politely and warmly by the receptionist. The process between my arrival and towards end of my appointment was amazing, fast and smooth! Melissa was very nice. She is very knowledgable and performed a very thorough eye exam. She was nice and answered all the questions that I had. Would definitely recommend her for an eye exam! The cost of the eye exam is what had originally made me come across this location. $95 for an exam is a price you cannot beat especially since its downtown. All the staff at this location are very welcoming and have great customer service!

I went this time to ask to have a pair of glasses quickly adjusted, which I had purchased from the Clearly website. When I walked in I explained this to the staff and the man said accusingly “those aren’t Clearly glasses.” I explained that they weren’t clearly’s own brand, but I had purchased them on the website. He said, “we have nothing to do with Clearly, we are a separate store called ‘For Eyes’.” Me: “Your sign says ‘For Eyes by Clearly’.” Man: “Oh, that means nothing.” I guess they just want to use clearly’s name recognition and not actually help or keep their customers coming back. It seemed that they did not want to help me. After making me sign a waiver, another staff member quickly adjusted the glasses just by bending the frames with their hands. I’ve never been treated that way when asking to have glasses adjusted anywhere, as it’s usually seen, at least I thought, as a business development opportunity. The vibe was awkward, expectant, and negative so I won’t be going back.
