Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

I visited Specsavers Simcoe to buy glasses, but I ended up purchasing both glasses and contact lenses! Everything was covered by my benefits, and I’m very happy with my purchase. The prices were great, and my order was ready in just 8 days. The whole experience was smooth and satisfying. I had given up hope on finding a cute, simple and inexpensive pair of glasses when I went to Specsavers. It was a very clean and organized store with many options at reasonable prices. Even as I was looking at the glasses on display, the employee was looking through cabinets to find more with similar colours and styles. I was told my two pairs would take 3 weeks and they arrived in 1 week. The pick-up was quick and effortless as the man fit the glasses on me. 10/10 recommend.

Great experience at Specsavers Simcoe! The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. The service was excellent, and the turnaround time for my glasses was surprisingly quick. They have a great selection of frames and make the whole process easy and stress-free.

I came to Specsavers Simcoe to get glasses for my fiancée, and honestly, the experience was excellent from start to finish.
We had visited other places in town and were given quotations that were almost double the price. At Specsavers Simcoe, not only was the pricing much more reasonable, but the customer service was also top notch. Everyone was very helpful, patient, and made the whole process easy for us.
My fiancée has a high prescription, and I was honestly expecting the glasses to take quite some time, but they were ready within a week! The quality, speed, pricing, and customer service were all excellent.
I’m very happy we chose Specsavers Simcoe and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great service and affordable glasses. Thank you to the whole team! 👓😊

I would avoid using specsavers. I would give less than 1 star if I could! I had a terrible experience getting my glasses. I initially went in on July 28th and ordered my glasses and everything seemed fine then. They told me it would be about 2 weeks until my glasses came in. After afew phone calls to check in on how they are coming along, they finally came in a month later... to my suprise the sunglasses were great but the normal glasses came in the wrong frame they were in the sunglasses frames. The workers obviously rejected them and told me they would put a rush on them and it would be only 1 or 2 weeks. We'll it ended up taking an additional 4 weeks to come in. I finally went and got my 2nd pair today and to make things up to me they gave me a certificate for $25 off my next purchase. Which i though was abit of a low blow to be honest but apparently that is all they had to offer to make things right for waiting nearly 2 months for my glasses.
The worst part is when I got home I got looking at the certificate for $25 dollars of my next purchase. It is useless as it expires at the end of the year! I dont plan on getting new glasses 3 months after finally getting new ones. Needless to say I won't be returning to this store again! The store was great when it was Theadore Pringle but now that it's switched to specsavers I can't say quite the same.
After having this experience I've talked with afew friends and family members. They have also had not so great of an experience with specsavers either. I just wish I had known that earlier.
Avoid going to this location! It is probably better spending a little more money elsewhere and getting much better service and communication.
