Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.
3D scanning technology (OCT)
At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

I have my eyes tested here, and they are always gentle and friendly. This is the only store I have actually bought glasses at. i have made a purchase of 2 for 1 frames 3 times now. After visiting their competition, I don't think I will bother looking elsewhere. I will go back to SpecSavers at Scarboroughtown Centre.

The staff at STC were very nice but their supervisor wasn't really helpful. I previously visited the Don Mills branch and they were absolutely superb. At STC, they said my prescription was expired which is fine but they somehow could not help me with any appointments on the day which is fine. The worse part is I asked if they could hold the summer deal of $50 off on 2 pair for me till the time my appointment is done and they reached out to the super who was a lady in a burqa with a lot of makeup and she said she was busy.
The staff gave me an appointment. I actually went to the other spectacle shop in STC and got a walk in done by even better doctor. My insurance pays so it worked well and it's your loss Specsavers. Also they did not know anything about CAA while they give corporate discounts. Their lack of knowledge is bad for the store but I went there for the deal. I got it. Mostly I am not gonna return to the store . Will go to Don Mills or even better the other specs shop in STC.
