I was looking for a replacement set of sunglasses for golf with single prescription. Narrowed my search to Oakley. LensCrafters had a good selection and had a great sale on frames and lenses, which saved me hundreds. Securing a quote on-line was uick & easy. In store customer service was very good.

Outstanding service from Bano at the Oshawa centre location. Very knowledgeable and excellent and exceptional communication and treated our son with such care. He was so excited to see her to pick up glasses. Very personable and we are so happy and thankful for all her help and making this a wonderful experience! Thanks Bano!!! Would also like to add that it was 2 months from initial visit and she remembered our son’s name and which glasses he picked. Great memory and shows each customer is not just another customer. 😊

Everyone should consider this place when getting glasses especially for there children. Extremely good experience. I came in with my parents, a lady named Bano helped me, we sat down, she bonded with my parents extremely well, lots of laughed and giggles. I got my measurements done and my glasses ordered. I think bano needs a raise.

I had an amazing experience at LensCrafters in the Oshawa Centre! I came in specifically for the Ray-Ban Meta glasses and Zahra was incredibly helpful. She took the time to understand exactly what I needed and helped me pick the perfect pair. A huge special thanks to the manager, Munira, for providing a great deal and promo. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend seeing Zahra and Munira!"

I had a very disappointing experience with this store while getting my glasses.
I was initially told that my glasses would be ready in November last year, but I only received one pair yesterday. The delay was explained as an issue with the lens being made clear instead with color, which should have been caught much earlier. This caused months of unnecessary waiting and inconvenience.
Additionally, I purchased sunglasses along with a warranty, expecting peace of mind. However, when I returned for a frame repair, I was asked to pay extra due to a “deductible.” This was never explained to me at the time of purchase, which feels misleading and unprofessional.
Overall, the lack of clear communication, poor customer service long delays, and unexpected charges made this a frustrating experience. I would recommend that future customers ask very detailed questions about timelines and warranty terms before making a purchase from here.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
