I recently purchased glasses from the LensCrafters at Place d’Orléans and had a generally positive experience. The store offers a very good selection of frames and brands, making it easy to find a style that suits your needs and budget. The staff were consistently polite, professional, and helpful throughout the selection process. They took the time to answer questions and made the experience pleasant and stress-free.
That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. After being told my glasses would take about two weeks, I waited the full period and never received a call or update. When I finally called the store myself, I was told they had just arrived... what a surprise (and yes, that's sarcasm). I was also disappointed by how the advertised discounts translated into the final price. While the store prominently promotes deals such as 50% off frames or lenses, the savings seem to be offset elsewhere once all the costs are added up. In the end, I had to negotiate to get what I considered a "reasonably" fair price.
Overall, good products and excellent staff, but the communication and pricing transparency could be improved.

I have been into this store several times and can say without a doubt that we have had the most pleasant and enjoyable experience when purchasing eyewear. The sales associate, Roohi, was amazing and helped us so much. She took her time and was patient while lending a very professional and knowledgable hand to us. This made our experience really great. Very impressed with every visit so thank you!!!!!!

I had been putting off buying a new pair of glasses because I always found the process overwhelming and stressful. I had visited a couple of other places before LensCrafters, but either the selection wasn’t great or I didn’t receive the guidance I needed to find frames that actually suited me.
When I walked into LensCrafters, I was immediately greeted by Roohi, and the experience was completely different. I explained what I liked but admitted that I struggle with choosing frames that look good on me. Within just a few minutes, she picked out the perfect pair—I fell in love with them instantly!
What impressed me even more was how she explained my prescription. For the first time, I truly understood what was going on with my vision and why certain lenses would be best for my eyes. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
Roohi made what I had been dreading into such an enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and takes the time to help you find the right fit, I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Roohi!

Dr. Issam was a huge help today! His support came from a place of genuine care for his patients rather than profit, which is a refreshing change from SpecSavers. He even encouraged me to drop by with any questions once my glasses are ready and worn. I highly recommend him and I will gladly be a repeat customer!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
