I came in with broken sunglasses and Pavneet came to the rescue! She was extremely professional, and given her experience in the industry, I knew my sunglasses were in safe hands. My sunglasses look brand new - thank you for making my day!

Manal was incredibly helpful and made my experience great. She was very patient and took the time to help me choose the right pair of glasses, even though it took quite a while for me to decide. She never rushed me and gave honest, helpful advice throughout the process. Her excellent customer service, kindness, and professionalism made the whole experience enjoyable. I really appreciate all of her help and would highly recommend working with Manal if you’re looking for someone knowledgeable and dedicated to helping you find the perfect glasses.

Last evening (June 16, 2026, around 5:30 PM), my wife and I visited LensCrafters at Oakville Place to inquire about purchasing Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 2 Wayfarer, dark blue frame with transition prescription lenses).
Initially, a staff member attended to us and showed a few options. Unfortunately, the dark blue frame was not available, so I asked whether it would be possible to order the frame directly from the Ray-Ban website and have the prescription lenses fitted through the store.
At that point, without any explanation or apology, the staff member simply walked away and started serving another customer. We waited for several minutes, expecting someone to continue assisting us, but nobody did.
We left the store, did some shopping elsewhere in the mall, and returned about 15 minutes later assuming someone would be available to help. There were two other staff members seated at separate workstations, and despite clearly seeing us in the store, neither acknowledged us nor offered assistance.
My wife was understandably frustrated and wanted to leave immediately. Personally, I was left with the impression that the staff simply did not want our business. We were prepared to spend approximately $1,000, yet we were treated as though our presence did not matter.
This was, without question, the worst customer service experience we have encountered in Canada. Being ignored twice while actively trying to make a purchase is both disrespectful and unacceptable.
To the franchise owner: if you would like to verify this incident, please review your CCTV footage from around 5:30 PM onward on June 16, 2026. You will clearly see us waiting in the store for assistance and then returning later only to be ignored again.
Utterly disappointed. I would not recommend this store to anyone seeking professional service or basic customer courtesy.

I needed a small repair for my existing glasses, the arm had fallen off and as they have a spring -loaded spring on the arm, I couldn’t do it myself. Pavneet, in the Oakville Place store, was kind enough to do the repair for me, without hesitation, and restored the arm quickly. Fantastic to have the empathy and generosity too do this. Thank you for resolving the issue!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
