Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

They seem to book multiple people for the same appointment slot, probably to protect themselves in case someone cancels so they don’t lose revenue.
I had to take time off work to make the appointment, only to find out that another customer was booked for the exact same time. It wasn’t fair to either of us. I really wish they would respect people’s time more.
While I was waiting at the store, I checked the prices of their eyeglasses and noticed that Costco is significantly cheaper.

Customer service was excellent! My order was completed two days earlier than expected, and my glasses were exactly as ordered, with the correct prescription.
The consultation before pickup was very helpful, and the optometrist was professional, knowledgeable, and provided valuable feedback along with my prescription details.
Overall, it was a very pleasant and smooth experience. I would highly recommend Upper Canada Mall Specsavers for their efficient service and professional care.

I had an amazing experience at Specsavers at Upper Canada Mall. On February 19, 2026, I had an eye exam with Dr. Merchant. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and truly cares about her patients. Her staff are also wonderful and efficient. The glasses are offered at great prices and the facility is very clean.
CICI took the time to assist me in choosing the glasses I liked. She made sure both pairs fit perfectly when I picked them up. My glasses were ready exactly as promised in two weeks.
I am very grateful for the care I received from Dr. Merchant and very satisfied with the service provided by her staff. Thank you so much, Dr. Merchant! I would highly recommend Specsavers at Upper Canada Mall.
