I had a great experience at LensCrafters thanks to William. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the different frame and lens options, along with all the features available. He helped me find a pair that suited me well without making me feel rushed. His friendly attitude and excellent customer service made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Thank you, William, for your help and I highly recommend asking for him if you’re looking for new glasses!

I had an absolutely unacceptable experience with LensCrafters at Bayshore Centre.
I placed an order at the beginning of January and was promised a 14-day turnaround. I left my Christian Dior frames with the store because I was relocating internationally and needed the glasses completed on time. Instead, I spent weeks chasing updates, repeatedly calling the store, being unable to reach anyone, and dealing with associates who could not provide answers or connect me with management. On one occasion, I called back about five times in one hour and was repeatedly hung up on before anyone picked up.
The situation got worse. LensCrafters later admitted that the lab could not complete the lenses and that the order was cancelled. They also said my frame would be returned to the store and then sent to me “as quickly as possible.” That never happened.
It is now July 5th. I still have not received my refund, and I still have not received my glasses back.
This is not a minor delay. This is a complete service failure involving premium frames, poor communication, broken timelines, and no meaningful resolution for months. I had already relocated internationally and made clear that I needed my frames returned and the refund processed. Despite that, LensCrafters has left me without both my money and my property.
For a company that charges premium prices, the level of accountability here has been shocking. I would not trust this location with expensive frames, time-sensitive orders, or any situation requiring competent follow-through. At this point, LensCrafters needs to immediately refund me and return or replace my glasses. This is not even factoring in the extra frames I have had to purchase due to the sheer incompetence of the staff here. I cannot recommend this store to anyone.

I came in for an eye exam and was asked if I’m interested in contact lenses. I said yes and was given a contact lens consult without being told it will be charged as an extra on top of the exam. At my usual optometrist, contact lens consults are free :/ sad day :(

To those thinking about going here I wouldn’t recommend it. I walked in the store ready to either get my eyes checked or make an appointment but with in 5 secs of walking into the store I felt all eyes on me followed with dirty or disgusted looks I step a few feet in when unfortunately timing my spacer fell out. When I asked for a napkin and hand sanitizer to clean it and sterilize my spacer the whole time I’m being watched like a hawk and judged the whole time I was in i didn’t bother staying as the whole stuff was rather rude and that is honestly disgusting. Im shocked by the reviews and how many people also seen or experienced similar behaviour from the staff. With all due respect they need to be trained or re-trained. Also they where all standing at the desk on there phones and what not even remotely looking like they want to help you. The store needs to let a lot of people go and hire people that actually care or want to help not ‘em stuck up overly privileged undercooked unseasoned chicken…
I’m not gonna bother filling that form out as I know it only results in a slap of the wrist for everyone and that isn’t gonna to cut it for me respectfully.

Dealing with LensCrafters Bayshore was a complete nightmare. I don’t even know where to start. I wanted lightweight glasses. What I was sold were not lightweight. When I picked them up I was just handed the glasses case and expected to go on my way without trying them on. I actually had to ask for the staff member to sit down with me to try them on and do initial adjustments. I bought the thinnest lenses offered and these glasses were painful and unwearable something I’ve never experienced before. I tried asking for help. Asking for recommendations or other frames. I was met with attitude and excuses everything from ‘you’ll get use to them’ or ‘maybe it’s your nose’ once they had my money they did not care. I ended up going with to LensCrafters is St. Laurent. I found out I was sold glasses that did not have thin lenses even though I had paid for them. Apparently the Bayshore store has a terrible reputation for making these kinds of mistakes. The St. Laurent store didn’t have a great selection so I ended up returning my glasses in the end. Frustrating experience from start to finish.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
