- AMArooj MMay 8, 20261.0I have a horrible experience with spec-savers. This is my first time with them. My prescription wasn’t accurate and wanted to get it rechecked. I was confirmed there will be no charges and 1.5hrs prior to my appointment I got a call for additional 45$ which is ridiculous and unprofessional. They are not accommodating. All they want is money and pathetic customer service. I will not recommend anyone to visit such unprofessional doctors and receptionist with zero information and misguiding customers….they should value our time as its hard to take out time from busy schedules

We recently discovered, after visiting another branch, that the staff member who assisted us (Clint) provided the wrong frames and failed to include the transition lenses she required. This error had a significant impact on my wife’s health. Because she has high light sensitivity, the lack of proper lenses caused persistent headaches and triggered her vertigo. During our visit, the level of unprofessionalism, lack of focus and hygiene standards was unacceptable. The associate (Clint) was distracted, laughing and discussing his upcoming vacation with a colleague while we were right in front of him. We were uncomfortable with the associate's poor personal hygiene (strong food odour/bad breath), which is particularly concerning in a healthcare-adjacent work environment. My wife overheard a conversation suggesting the associate (Clint) may not have a valid permit/eligibility to work in Canada. This is a serious concern regarding the store’s hiring and legal compliance policies. While the facility itself was clean and well-maintained, the lack of attention to detail and unprofessional conduct resulted in a poor product and physical discomfort for my wife. I hope management investigates these issues to ensure other customers do not have the same experience.

Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
