This is the fourth time I’ve had to come back for small issues, which is very frustrating. I purchased two pairs of glasses in May, but they were not a good fit, so I exchanged them for two other pairs. During that visit, we spent around three hours just to place the order .At that time, the optician (Ashu) clearly told us that at pickup they would apply my CAA membership discount of 20%. However, when I went to collect the glasses, they simply denied it. I also requested adjustments for both sunglasses. One was adjusted on the spot, but for the other, Meena/Mina said it would take one hour and when i said that’s oky , i will be back in an hour, she on the spot changed her words and said, you would have to come back the next day. It was a simple tightening adjustment, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience was very poor. The staff members (Ashu, Meena/Mina, and the manager Rupinder) did not provide proper customer service. There seems to be a lack of training and coordination. I will not be returning.

Honestly the optometrist here is super nice but it sucks because the rest of the customer experience is horrible. They are rude on the phone, and when I arrived during their posted hours they just close early every single time. You would think if they’re going to close at a different time to the store front that information would be available to find online but it never is. After I came back the next day I found that they ordered me the completely wrong contact lenses despite paying extra for the other ones. Never going back here

I had a great experience at LensCrafters thanks to Justin. From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in assisting me with my sunglasses purchase. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I found the right pair that suited my needs. The next day, I noticed a price difference between the online price and the in-store price. I reached out to Justin to explain the situation, and he was very understanding and professional. Thanks to LensCrafters’ 100% Happiness Guarantee, Justin promptly helped me process the refund for the price difference without any hassle. I truly appreciate his excellent customer service, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Justin made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Thank you, Justin, for your outstanding support—I highly recommend working with him if you visit LensCrafters!

Recently went in with a pair of sunglasses purchased on Quay Australia website NOT LensCrafters and the arms were completely splayed out i guess due to heat from shipping The company offered me to exchange them however i would have to pay duties twice at that point i decided maybe stopping in a LensCrafters would be my best bet even if i had to pay- Upinder greeted me promptly and asked how she could help, she took the sunglasses to the back and repaired them within like 10 minutes free of charge. This is why LensCrafters is always going to be my go-to and will be purchasing directly with them from now on as i’ve learned my lesson shopping online! THANK YOU UPINDER you are amazing at your job!! 🫶🏻

I visited LensCrafters at Square One on Sunday, June 14, hoping to purchase prescription glasses using my insurance. Unfortunately, there were no available appointments with the optometrist, and since I didn’t book in advance, I completely understand that. That part was absolutely fine. What disappointed me was my experience with one of the sales associates, Eshpreet. She answered my questions, but throughout the interaction, I felt heavily pressured to make a purchase immediately - even though I couldn’t complete an order without first getting my prescription. She told me that the promotions on frames and lenses I had seen on the website were ending that same day, creating urgency and pressure to buy right away. After leaving the store, I checked the website myself and found that the promotion actually runs until July 5th. That made me feel misled. What concerned me even more was that she offered me a “deal” where I could place the order that same day, process the payment through my insurance immediately, and then bring my prescription a few days later so the order could be finalized. She presented it as something "only she" could do “just for me” and "only that day". This felt very unusual and uncomfortable to me. I was not comfortable processing an insurance claim before even having a valid prescription, as that didn’t seem right and could potentially create issues with my coverage. That was the moment I started seriously questioning the honesty of the entire interaction. I understand sales are part of the job, and I appreciate good customer service and recommendations. But I do not appreciate feeling pressured, misled, or pushed into something that feels questionable. The repeated pressure and misleading information made me uncomfortable enough to leave and take my business elsewhere. There are many optical stores available and unfortunately this experience made me decide not to return.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
