Turned away for being 8 minutes late. This is a first- while I have been generally enjoying the classes here, today I was really disappointed for the lack of accommodation as a first time late-comer. I have worked as a Pilates instructor at 3 different studios including LifeTime Fitness and we would never refuse anyone for coming late- whether it be a private, semi private, or small group class. I respect the instructor, and quietly slipping into the class a little late is not a disturbance or violation of that respect in my opinion. I'll be reconsidering my membership here.

Really happy with my experience at this Pilates Club. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Mahshid is great, she’s really patient and makes the classes fun and easy to follow. The studio is always clean and the overall vibe is great. Would definitely recommend!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this Pilates Club today, and I feel I need to share it because I found the way I was treated as a potential new client completely unacceptable. The club had contacted me several times, inviting me to come in for a complimentary trial class, and after several calls, we finally arranged an appointment for 11:00 a.m. During one of our conversations, I was told that grip socks were recommended. I explained that I didn’t have any, and I was told that it was not a problem and that I could come in regular socks. Based on that information, I rearranged my work schedule and made time specifically to attend this trial class. This class was actually very important to me. I have a shoulder injury, and I wanted to see whether I would be able to safely return to Pilates. Before my injury, I used to do Pilates at Life Time, so I am familiar with Pilates classes and how they work. When the class started, I placed my feet on the platform slightly incorrectly. My foot did not slip — I simply placed it in the wrong position, and the instructor corrected me and told me to move my feet more toward the centre. After that, she told me that I needed grip socks and sent me to the front desk. At the front desk, I was offered the option to purchase socks for $18. I declined because I find it unreasonable to be expected to spend $18 on socks simply to try a complimentary class and determine whether Pilates at this club is even suitable for me. I was then told that I had to leave the class. I had been there for literally about one minute. I was also told that if I wanted to come back, I would have to wear grip socks because it was a safety requirement. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the woman directly across from me was wearing exactly the same type of regular socks I was wearing, and nobody said anything to her. I left feeling completely confused and disappointed. This is not really about the $18 for the socks. It is about how a potential new client was treated. If grip socks are a mandatory safety requirement, that should be clearly communicated before the client arrives — especially when the club itself has contacted the person multiple times and arranged the complimentary trial. I also don’t understand the logic of spending money on advertising and inviting potential clients to come in for a complimentary trial, only to send someone away after one minute because they don’t have a specific type of socks — especially after that person was previously told that regular socks were fine. I rearranged my work schedule and changed my plans for the day because I was genuinely interested in finding a good Pilates Club and seeing whether I could return to Pilates despite my shoulder issue. Instead, I left with a terrible impression, a ruined schedule, and a very bad mood. Unfortunately, I will never return to this club. Thankfully, there are plenty of other Pilates studios in Mississauga that I can try, and hopefully they will treat potential clients with more respect and consideration. Very disappointed with my experience today and with the way this situation was handled.

Mississauga Dundas location. Amazing Pilates experience. Exceptional equipment and an environment where it’s a pleasure to workout. Instructors are highly skilled at correcting your form and having limited number of participants means you’re always on their radar for any corrections that your form may need. I’m so glad I signed up!

I’m not someone who has done a lot of workouts or has ever been particularly consistent with fitness programs. For a while, I’ve been trying different gyms and fitness classes, always hoping I would find something that I actually enjoyed and would want to stick with. Then I walked into Club Pilates Erin Mills, and it felt different. The workouts are genuinely beginner-friendly, and I love that there’s a gradual progression. It doesn’t feel like those intense, crazy, sweat-breaking workouts that you dread going to or have to drag yourself through. Instead, Pilates feels like therapy. It’s fun, it challenges you, and yes, there’s pain — but the good kind! You leave feeling like you’ve actually done something for your body without feeling completely exhausted or defeated. I also love that you can progress at your own pace and gradually build strength and confidence. For someone like me who has struggled to find a workout routine that I actually look forward to, Club Pilates has been such a refreshing change. I’m really enjoying my experience at Club Pilates Erin Mills and can honestly say I’m finally finding a form of exercise that I want to keep doing!
