I had my eye exam at the White Oaks store. Besides the staff not making us feel welcome from the start, the doctor, at least, was very polite. I was recommended to get glasses with lenses for both near and far vision, but since I use reading glasses all day on the computer for work, I decided to get both. The selection of frames is terrible; there aren't many options, including cat-eye frames, which are practically unavailable. So I brought my own frame and asked for reading lenses only, and progressive lenses so I could read up close on the computer and at least 2 meters away from me. I had to pay an extra $178.00 on top of the $350.00 that was deducted from my insurance. To my great surprise, when I picked up my reading glasses and tried to wear them on the first day, I noticed the lenses had a blue tint, and I couldn't even see clearly. Even more surprising was my realization that I couldn't see even a meter away. I went back to the store to see what could be done about these reading glasses, and the saleswoman told me they were made ONLY for seeing well up close! She suggested I get another eye exam with a doctor, but when I said it didn't make sense for me to get another exam, she offered to pay more $120,00 to replace the lenses and have them done. I ended up giving up on using those glasses because I've had lenses made at other, much cheaper opticians before, and the result was much better and the lenses were made correctly. My glasses are just sitting in a drawer; I'm using my old glasses, which still allow me to see both near and far. I would never recommend them. I've already told all my coworkers never to try to get their lenses from the White Oaks store; if I could give them a rating below 0, I would.

Excellent customer service. All the staff I dealt with were excellent. Special mention to Zully and Mohammed. They really went above and beyond to make sure I had the right products for me. They helped show me the different types of "reactions" lenses and types, along with the tinted glasses. Frames fit great and look great. Got contacts too. Really satisfied and highly recommend. Also Dr. Luu who did my eye test is fantastic. Best optometrist I have ever had.

This is the second round of new glasses for me where I have partnered with Specsavers to help me select new frames. All of the staff are lovely, very helpful, very chatty and just very friendly in general. A smile and cheery personality make such a huge difference. I would highly recommend the White Oaks location if you are looking for glasses at a reasonable price while getting some great customer service and support.
