I joined in July 2025 and honestly wasn’t sure I’d stick with it. As a physician, my schedule is different every week … some weeks involve 24/7 call, which is physically and emotionally draining. Finding any kind of routine felt unrealistic. But classes run from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, so there’s almost always a time that works, and that’s what made it possible. It’s become one of the best things I’ve done for my stress levels and for balancing work with my own health.
What surprised me most is how much it’s shown up in everyday life …. lifting, bending, balance, just moving around feels easier and more controlled. Over time I’ve noticed real improvements in posture, flexibility, and core strength with a lot less strain on my joints. The instructors are knowledgeable and genuinely attentive, and modifications are always offered so it works for different ages, fitness levels, and physical limitations. Never felt pushed beyond what was right for me.
