Had an eye exam there for the first time recently. Very welcoming staff, and never felt any pressure to make any immediate decisions for frames. Would recommend!

All the staff here are super friendly and welcoming. Jerry was exceptional, super attentive and recommended frames based on my preferences. The process to purchase new glasses was quick and easy, and they even offered to bill my insurance! I will definitely be back :) Thanks for your help, Jerry!

My first appointment had to be rescheduled. I was at the store in person when they gave me the 8th of May as my new date. Less than an hour later, I was called and told that it was an unavailable date and that my new date was the 14th of May. This all happened on April the 26th. Fast forword to two whole weeks later, and 5 days to my eye exam, I receive a call that the 14th was now unavailable as well and that I could either choose the 27th of May or look elsewhere. This is my first time trying to get my eyes checked with Specsavers and it has been nothing short of unnecessary stress and frustration and rude staff with an attitude. The person on phone could not give me a reason why a twice rescheduled exam was being rescheduled a third time. Eventually said she'll transfer me to a different (farther) branch for an earlier date, still no confirmation text for this transfer.

Go to SpecSavers at Limeridge Mall to get your glasses. They have different styles and options for many different people who have different needs both financially and for people with different plans or no plans at all. They have lots of name brand frames to choose from alongside the options of buying 2 for 1. Their sales rotate frequently so you will always get a great deal on getting what you want at very competitive prices. Over $200+ cheaper then going to Len's Crafters that's just around the corner from them. Process is quick and easy to follow, alongside competitive pricing for the options you want for your eye glasses selections. I'd definitely go back to get my glasses from them. They even have quite a few different selections of frames that are from brands like Ray Bans to Tommy Hilfiger to DKNY and more. The process is quick, simple and easy to process without being taken advantage of by overpriced frames and your needs for transitions and optical requirements.

My initial experience 2 yrs ago was great. Honest , sincere, good CS and products. 15 days ago I came in for an eye exam and the exam itself went well. Dr was knowledgeable, friendly. I came back as I typically like the bogo promo so I have 1 for work and 1 for home with decent selection. This visit turned out incredibly poor. I came and told them I was there as I had misplaced my glasses and the order pair had broken do had no quite been 2yrs and I felt my eyes were worse now to which the Dr agreed. I sought the assistance of an associate who has conveyed nothing but incorrect information. Initally I confirmed the selection I made was bogo to which the reply was " yes' When she rang me out it was an almost $500 bill. After I asked she THAN explained it was an additional charge for progressive lenses which was not mentioned prior. I took 1 pair but ended up speaking to the wonderful owner who honored the bogo. For this reason Im not giving 1 At this same appt 15 days ago I was told 7-10 days delivery which today is day 10 since.i choose the 2nd pair, 15.days since the 1st I called and left a message today to which i got a return call telling me its actually 10 to 14 days now and they're in transit. As a CS manager of many decades I truly believe transparency and honesty/accuracy is the most important aspect of any business to earn loyalty and trust. Im not sure why I was given incorrect information on several aspects of this transaction. I have been using readers to try and get by however if I knew it would be 2 weeks , maybe more I could have chosen to go.to my previous office who can get glasses in about 1 week. All around this has been an aggravating experience. Even small things like confirming your appt via text only to have someone call a few hours later to do the same. I told her I literally just confirmed via text and she said she had to make sure and became very unfriendly This was not the spectacular store and CS I enjoyed almost 2 yrs ago. Hopefully with education and proper coaching the staff can do better. My ins on my husband's policy renewes in Aug and I will go elsewhere for contacts and I've already taken my son to Costco. I attempted to book him in-store here when i was choosing my 2nd pair and was refused since I had no HC on me at the moment. (However i explained i could bring it and he is also covered under 2 private ins companies) However online it does not require this so I just went to Costco where it was all seamless and accurate. Glasses also very reasonable. Hopefully they can get back to the fantastic clinic they were when they opened as the owner is lovely and deserves more.
