Adult eye exams

We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.

Children’s eye care

Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.

Contact Lens assessments

During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

3D scanning technology (OCT)

At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

Went to have my eyes tested, took that Rx to Costco, a lot a lot cheaper. Got the glasses, $500 later, everything out of focus and glasses useless. Went back to Specsavers, went through the WHOLE eye exam again, Rx different. Now I have to spend another $500 on a new Rx to get what they’re saying is the right Rx and they said nothing they can do for me but give me another Rx and I’m on my own. Didn’t ask any questions first time around like what do you need glasses mostly for? What do you think you need to see more of? Nothing. So I sit in front of a computer 9 hours a day, glasses useless. Need to read pharmacy Rx’s, can’t, glasses useless and Specsavers says oh well, here a new Rx, good luck !! PLEASE.. IF YOU’RE GOING TO SPECSAVERS LYNDEN MALL…ASK QUESTIONS MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE WITH EXACTLY THE RX YOU CAME FOR or you’re screwed !!!! So, here I am after returning to Specsavers for round two of examining my eyes. Got a TOTALLY different Rx then the first round. Took it to where I got my glasses and and they replaced the Rx for free. Now I’ve had TWO examinations, TWO different Rx’s and the glasses are no better than the first round. NOT ONE person said to me, hey Scott, why are you looking to getting glasses? What do you think you need them for? What do you need to help you see better? Nothing except sit in the chair and it’s $100 please. I have now made a new appointment with a totally different eye place to get it done correctly so I can actually see when I drive, read a pill bottle or sit for 9 hours a day at my job and stare at a computer to see. The MOST unprofessional place I’ve ever been two and frankly, it’s obvious after telling that “doctor” every glass he threw in front of my eyes they were ALL blurry to pick 1 or 2, 3 or 5 or 6 the the just kept going until he reached his limit and yup, you got it, all still blurry and I’ve wasted so much valuable time and money on a place where I question the guys education on eye examining. Bloody useless and shameful to take one’s money and NOT get any satisfaction or anything right Coming up I’ll be posting the message left on my phone by the manager Patricia for all to read. That was beautiful to say the least and yes, that’s sarcasm. Can’t wait for everyone’s reaction on that.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and a great value for glasses! I had never had my eyes checked before but the process was very smooth, I would recommend for anyone looking to have their eyes checked.

The staff although very friendly, seem a little disorganized. I brought in a pair of glasses that the frame needed to be replaced. They told me it would be about two weeks. I tried calling because I didn’t hear back from them. Nobody answers the phone so I drove all the way there only to find out that they couldn’t find my glasses and they don’t know what’s going on with them and I paid $100. I’ve been there twice now and no one has answers. They told me they would contact me on Saturday or by Monday at the latest and I’ve heard nothing. It’s been almost a month since I dropped them off.
