We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.

Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

A fantastic experience at Specsavers in Bowmanville from start to finish!
I booked my appointment just a few days in advance, and the follow-up was excellent, with appointment reminders and a courtesy call on the day. The front-line staff were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about eye care and eye health, as well as the current in-store specials.
The optometrist was outstanding, taking the time to explain every part of my eye exam in plain language. I really appreciated understanding what was being checked and what the results meant.
Choosing frames was easy, with clear pricing and no hidden costs. All the lens options were explained thoroughly, so I felt comfortable making an informed decision.
Friendly service, great communication and a team that took the time to get everything right. Highly recommend!

Both myself and my friend went to Specsavers in Bowmanville at the Loblaws store and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish they gave us undivided attention and pleased us in every way.
