StretchLab was created to help increase flexibility, range of motion and energy in people no matter what their age, body type or fitness level! StretchLab Oakland offers one on one assisted stretching and group stretch classes in a fun, open and communal environment. Our one on one stretches can be 25 or 50 minutes long and we offer drop-in or monthly memberships. All of our Flexologists are highly trained and create a custom stretch routine for each member. Our innovative group stretches offer a unique way for members to reach their flexibility goals. Group stretches can be purchased individually or as a monthly membership.

    Had my first session at StetchLab in Oakland yesterday. I was bought three classes as a Father’s Day gift, but work travel meant I put it to one side. Seeing Marica yesterday was perfect timing after several long flights. I would give the concept, and experience 5-stars, and I thought Marica was clearly very knowledgeable, effective in the session and gave me some great “homework”, which I have already put into practice. It’s not cheap, but if you have a stubborn issue, or are training for an intense event, it feels like good value.

    Stretch Lab Oakland has been a great place for me to improve my flexibilty and work on my posture as I age gracefully. The staff is very caring and listens to your needs and concerns, Plus, they have two fancy hi-tech massage chairs!

    Easy to schedule with. Clean facility with nice amenities like massage chairs and tea. Practitioners are hit and miss. I recommend trying a few to find your fit. They all have such varied backgrounds and specialties. Marco is a massage therapy student and has been great for my needs.

    Yesterday I had my first stretch session at the Oakland site on 4973 Broadway Street. My booking with LaRhesha Lowe was amazing! She on time, very attentive, asked helpful questions, and address my needs. She paid attention to how I was tolerating each stretch and pushing me while not being overly aggressive. Afterwards all the kinks had been worked out and was not feeling any of the pain that had brought me into the StretchLab. LaRhesha texted me the next day to see how I was doing and I was still feeling the benefits of the session. I would definitely recommend LaRhesha and the StretchLab !

    I'd experienced a few demos at running events over the past couple years but had been a little apprehensive due to the cost. After going back and forth on it for a while, I finally decided to try an intro session and was really glad I did. I've been a runner for years and it's been a battle to stay ahead of injuries stemming from tight hips, hamstrings, and calves. While I've not had any serious injuries, things like achilles tendonopathy and IT band syndrome have been ever present nags that have reminders to stretch more. Lately, I've been putting more focus into recovery and my intro session convinced me that StretchLab could be a significant part of that. I ran a marathon days after my intro session (I'd scheduled the session close to it) and I felt so loose and good for the race. The training helped me shave a huge chunk of time off my race but the stretch really helped me just feel good in my body, I couldn't wait to come back and signed up for three months of two 50 minute sessions a month. I plan on incorporating my StretchLab sessions into the core part of my race prep and recovery and highly recommend it for anyone looking to minimize injury or maintain balance in your body.
