The best Optometry you will find! I highly recommend. Dr. Argina is one of a kind who goes above and beyond for her patients. She really takes her time during each appointment and will provide you with the best care!
Made appointment online on the weekend, same day got called by receptionist to give insurance information, when I had already provided all that in the pre fill out paperwork online on their website and appointment was 2 days away. Once insurance was verified over the phone, I was then told by receptionist that it was required by the doctor that I schedule a retinal diseases exam, that I would have to pay out of pocket $39 because my insurance didn't cover that. I denied the retinal exam , receptionist said the doctor would not see me then if I didn't take it. I repeated back to receptionist that since I reject the retinal exam, then doctor wont see me, she said " exactly". I told her to go ahead and cancel my appointment with them then, all she said was "okay", hung up.
Terrible way to welcome new patients into your practice. Glad I was able to cancel the appointment(s), wont have to deal with sub par service.

I LOVE Dr. Argina! She is absolutely WONDERFUL! She goes the extra mile to make sure your ability to see with your new prescription is her top priority. She treats you like a personal friend that you've known for years! Her office is beautiful and her spirit in general is easy and just so amazing! What a wonderful woman! Can't say enough!
I’ve had experiences with several optical offices, and unfortunately this one stands out for all the wrong reasons. I found their practices to be misleading and lacking transparency. When I initially scheduled my children’s eye appointments, no fees were mentioned. While I understand that additional fees can apply, it’s important to communicate them upfront so families can be prepared. Instead, I was only informed of a $40 charge after the additional exam had already been completed. I expressed my concern to the staff and shared that being upfront and honest would have been appreciated.
Later, when my children broke their glasses on two separate occasions, I was told that Medi-Cal would not cover replacements and that I would need to pay out of pocket. Given my financial situation, this was very concerning—especially since the reason we have Medi-Cal is due to financial hardship. Wanting clarity, I asked the office to provide something in writing stating that they were unable to replace my child’s glasses because she had already received a replacement. That request was avoided. Eventually, they stated that I needed to contact Medi-Cal directly so the insurance company could reach out to them and possibly approve another pair.
This is how I learned that I did not need to purchase glasses out of pocket and that Medi-Cal could potentially approve another replacement. This information could and should have been shared with me from the beginning, rather than having me believe I needed to pay upfront for a new pair.
Because of this experience, I decided not to move forward with scheduling eye exams for myself or my husband through this office, despite initially planning to do so. Transparency matters, especially when it
comes to families and children. I would advise others to be cautious, as my experience was that this office was not upfront or honest in their communication. Being clear and honest is the best business practice.
