  This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They don’t keep up with dosage changes and keep filling the wrong RX, they don’t promptly fill your RX or notify you when it’s ready, they stop filling new RX 20 minutes before their lunch hour, they don’t notify you when your RX is out of stock, they just say it’s on back order for a few days. All of this after calling them, going in person to complain, and even having the store manager go directly to the pharmacy manager. Also, the lines are very long because the people that work there don’t know what they are doing, it’s pathetic. Incompetence prevails here, stay away or your blood pressure will go up!

  Ever since Rite-Aid closed, I thought they were terrible, but now I know that you take the most terrible award! The lines are never-ending and when you finally get to the counter it is a slow process, one pharmacist is on phone, the other pharmacist is busy and they can’t get to push the button on your register when counseling is declined. Why should I pay in advance from the numerous texts from the pharmacy asking me to pay online because you still have to stand in line! I feel your employees are not valued in the fact that they have too many people to serve and not enough people behind the counter to help…and they are having to deal with irate clients when it is not their fault, you are understaffed. I have found your employees to be mostly patient with all the upset people. You as management really need to take a look at the efficiency of the process and hire more individuals to help your clients, as well your employees. I hope that something changes, because as you can tell from the many one star reviews, nobody is happy with the service that they are getting at the Pavilions Newport Coast Pharmacy.

  Poorly managed in every way. Walked in to get a flu shot, all my insurance info already on file. I was told no because it was 20 minutes to closing. I think they just couldn't be bothered. Nothing on the website says anything about a cutoff time. Made an appointment for the next day. Decided to go to the competitor down the hill where I spent a total of 8 minutes from the time I approached the counter to when I was walking out the door with the vaccine in my arm, so it obviously can be done in less than 20 minutes. Have called 4 times today to cancel the appointment I made yesterday. No answer, weird voicemail routing, mailbox full, big waste of time. Appointment is in 25 minutes and I give up. I'm not going to show, and that's a bit rude but these people are disrespecting my time. Someone needs to go back to management 101. This place is a mess.

  This place is ridiculous. They told us prescription would be ready in 15 minutes and 45 minutes later we had to leave without it. They were rude about it too. It’s not our regular pharmacy and I’m thankful for that.

  The pharmacist manager and team are crazy/mental they called my brain surgeon 5 times for no reason. They take forever on-filling up prescription, the line takes forever, and the worst of it all is they go by their own set of rules not the CA standard. No one has any care for my dad as a patient causing his blood pressure to go through the roof.
