Monica was phenomenal and was able to help us with the fit of our glasses in just a few moments. She made everything perfect and was able to help us with something we've been having trouble with for quite a while. I was able to have her not only fix glasses from another store that couldn't do it right but she was able to lead us in the right direction on another pair of glasses I was looking for. Phenomenal customer experience

Monica was very helpful and patient. She helped me check the frame I liked, answered all my questions, and helped me replace the frame. I really appreciate her support and will definitely come back next year to purchase another pair. Thank you, Monica!

I walked in and was immediately assisted by Monique. What a relief to run into a place where someone who is completely friendly and ready to assist. She made effort to make sure I was within the budget. I walked out feeling I was really taken cared of and not dealing with someone truly looking out in my best interest and help me get what I really needed rather than upscaling me with stuff I don’t need. I will definitely be a regular customer here for sure. Definitely worth my trip and time coming here.

I have spent thousands of dollars at LensCrafters over the years, which is why this experience at the Newport Beach location, Store 1104, was extremely disappointing.
I paid extra for upgraded lenses specifically because I rely on my glasses for work and professional photos. The anti reflective coating was the main reason I chose and paid for the higher priced lens package. After waiting weeks for the order, I discovered while visiting Warby Parker that the lenses did not have any anti glare coating at all. Warby Parker staff pointed this out immediately.
When I returned to LensCrafters, their lab technician confirmed the coating had been missed and admitted it was a lab error. This mistake directly affected my ability to use my glasses for work, and it was frustrating that a cheaper competitor caught an error LensCrafters missed.
What made this worse is that I emailed LensCrafters to resolve the issue and received no response. After years of loyalty and premium pricing, this level of quality control and customer follow up is unacceptable.
At this point it is fair to ask why pay more for less. Warby Parker and most optical stores offer better pricing, and many provide comparable or better quality without these kinds of mistakes. Because of this experience, I will no longer be shopping at LensCrafters, and I would strongly advise others who depend on their glasses for work or daily use to look elsewhere or carefully inspect their orders.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
