The doctor, Dr. Pham, was fine, but the front desk staff were extremely unprofessional. I was charged $40 copay plus an additional $85 eye exam fee even after my insurance was applied, with no clear explanation. When I asked for a receipt, they only emailed me a $125 total with no itemized details, which felt very questionable. I clearly stated that I only wanted a contact lens exam. However, after seeing the exam presentation and the total amount charged, it appeared that I was billed for both a contact exam and a prescription eye exam, which was never clearly explained or confirmed with me. Despite all this, they only gave me one pair of trial contacts. Every other optical I’ve been to provides multiple trial pairs. When I asked about it, the staff said they were just following what the doctor wrote and told me I would need to order contacts myself. What I really don’t understand is why they didn’t order contacts for me at all, which is standard at other optical offices. When I called later, the staff said, “Oh, we didn’t know you wanted to order,” which is unbelievable considering the purpose of my visit. I originally requested weekly contacts but was told only bi-weekly lenses were available. When I tried to speak with the doctor about whether they would work for me, the staff blocked me from talking to her. I was told I’d receive a call back, which never happened. Disorganized, unclear billing, and very poor customer service. I would not recommend this location.
