  This office just wants to overbook their appointments to the point where the dentist rushed the exam and the waiting room was packed out the door and excessive wait time. I booked my 3 kids appointments together so I can supervise their exams like they always have for the past 2 or 3 years I've been at this office. This time they split up all my children and I had to juggle their exams. This time the denitst never spoke to me about his findings in my son's exam and the dental hygienist was the one giving details in which she told me that she was under qualified to so. The dentist skipped over me and went to the next patient. My 2nd child got an exam but I refused xrays this time and this new dentist shamed me for not doing so. Then proceeds to start an exam on my daughter, doesn't ask her to scoot up in her chair, HE GRABBED HER BY THE ARMPITS AND YANKED HER UP WITHOUT ASKING FOR CONSENT TO TOUCH HER BODY!! I told him, "next time, you shouldn't be grabbing her like that, you could have just asked her to move up first." This dentist removed his gloves and said he was going to have another practitioner work on her instead. No apologies, nothing!!. My oldest son told me he the dentist also yanked him up too, but I couldnt see because they separated my kids into different rooms. He just touched my daughter making me uncomfortable, he yanked her forcefully enough that she had tears in her eyes so it was obvious she was uncomfortable as we waited for the next dentist. I had to have a talk with my children that how he yanked her was completely unprofessional and not her fault and people are not allowed to touch your body just because they are "professionals". This young and inexperienced dentist should be not be working with children if he thinks he can just treat them so disrespectfully. He walked away from a problem he created and had absolutely no intention to correct the trauma he caused to my child. He could have adjusted his attitude and apologize for his actions, instead his arrogance showed his lack of backbone and he cowarded away because of his unprofessional conduct was brought to attention. The office manager at Montebello is doing a horrible job, it is a chaotic mess and I will be searching for a better dentist office, it won't be hard.

  The way the dentist talk to people is unacceptable …I’m 32 years old and got treated poorly (like a child) my daughter sat in the chair for about 30 minutes without doing anything, my son waited for nothing I work as well so my time was wasted. Not bc I was late simply bc u guys lack a lot of things beginning with respect .

  Children’s Dental Fun Zone in Montebello always looks very clean and it’s very kid-friendly. The staff is great, especially the girls at the front desk. They are always very polite and friendly. I also appreciate the dental plan we came up with for my son and look forward to moving forward with his treatment.
