I walked in with a question asking if I could pick up frames, then they were more than hospitable extremely nice. The moment I mentioned my insurance the woman told me “we don’t cover that insurance you can exit through the door behind you” , it left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m glad I can’t get glasses there.

My first time ordering glasses from Lens Crafters and was looking forward to it. When I received my prescription glasses I noticed there was a ton of glare and the ray ban logo wasn't on the glasses and it came with no cleaning cloth. I ordered my pair to have anti glare and the logo. Sure enough received a email notifying me that they made a mistake and that they sent me a pair without the type of lenses I ordered. I took my glasses and all my paper work to this location for help and when I was explaining what had happened, i was Interrupted twice by the lady who approached us and asked "did you get them from here" I said yes I ordered them online. And she gave me a smirk and said "so you didn't get them from this location?". I was under the assumption I could get help for my order at any location so I didn't think it would be a problem getting help in person. I showed the lady the email I received and she noted it was online only promo code. And I asked "so I can only do this online?" Again she let out a little chuckle and said "yes". It was astonishing the lack of willingness to help me and what's even crazier is it was the store manager!. I know they could have easily looked up my order and helped me replace the order but she didn't want anything to do with helping me. She literally hit me with 3 short worded sentences total and stood their awkwardly waiting for me to leave. After spending over $500 on glasses that are essential for my sight and receiving this type of customer service from the store manager is wild! Made me loose confidence and trust in my investment in this company. My visit was Friday August 22nd at 5pm.

This is probablty the best experience I've had with Lenscrafters and it was thanks to an awesome staff! One person Giancarlo. Thank you Lenscrafterfor having Giancarlo. He provided outstanding service and he was patient, kind, and knowledgeable, making the entire process enjoyable. Giancarlo meticulously measured my eyes and explained the options for lenses/frames and how my insurance and Lenscrafters Sales could best be applied to save me money. He did not rush me and allowed me time to try different frames. Expertise and attentiveness were remarkable, and the recommendations were honest and thoughtful. Beyond expertise, his kindness and positive attitude made a difference for me. A welcoming and comfortable atmosphere was created. I recommend anyone looking for the best experience to look for Giancarlo. Thank you Giancarlo and the Lenscrafter/Eyexam of California staff. -Oscar C
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
