Service sucked. Manager gave me inaccurate information about my insurance coverage (claimed sunglasses weren't covered even though they were). She seemed to be intent on pushing me to order custom lenses to upcharge me even though default lenses were exactly what I needed/wanted. So, I went to the Rancho Santa Margarita location instead. The RSM location gave me accurate info about my insurance coverage, which covered the full purchase as expected. The associate at the RSM location had me in and out of the store in 5 minutes without haggling me or dismissing my understanding of my own insurance coverage. The irony is, the Mission Viejo manager said she would have to call the RSM store and "make sure they were properly trained." Looks like it's the Mission Viejo manager who is in need of training. 😂

Vanessa M and Cole provided outstanding customer service. They were both very friendly, polite, and above all informative. I’m a healthcare recruiter, and these are the type of employees I look for when hiring for my top clients. Please share this feedback with them

Vanessa at the Shops at Mission Viejo was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us get replacement lenses for a pair of glasses that were damaged by our new puppy for an out of town holiday guest staying with us🙃. She and LensCrafters saved the day!!! Thank goodness the puppy is cute lol - thank you & Happy Holidays

This was my first time getting prescription glasses and JJ was wonderful and experienced. She was patience and soft spoken. She is well educated and considered offers and product that I won’t even know existed being a first timer. Thank you JJ

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
