  The staff is friendly and helpful but not pushy. I have gone there twice for my son’s glasses and both times have been extremely satisfied with both the service and the value. I would highly recommend this location!

  After having difficulty getting an eye appointment in Steinbach for several months, I managed to get a same day appointment at 1650 Kenaston Boulevard in Winnipeg. The staff was very friendly and helpful and willing to spend time explaining products and promotions. Dr. Alexander Rozbacher took time to answer questions after the exam and based on my experience I would recommend him to anyone in need of an eye exam.

  Huge shoutout to Specsavers Kenaston for such an amazing experience! My husband and I had one of the best eye care experiences we’ve ever had in Canada. From the second we walked in, Mona was incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. She made the whole process feel easy and stress-free, and got us fully ready for our eye exams and doctor appointments with so much care and patience. The clinic is super clean, modern, and welcoming, and the entire team made us feel valued the whole time. We were also so happy with the deal we got — two beautiful titanium semi-rimless frames for only $199! Amazing quality and such a great price. We both left with glasses we absolutely love and honestly couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great eye care, awesome prices, and genuinely kind staff!

  We had an amazing experience at Specsavers Kenaston! Dr. Alex was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. He took the time to answer every single question my father had and made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire visit. The whole team provided us with one of the best eye care experiences we have ever had in Canada. This has honestly been the best experience we’ve ever had at an eye clinic and optical store. The store was spotless, beautifully organized, and the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They answered all of our questions with care, and we were especially impressed by their expertise about lenses and frame options. They spent a lot of time helping us choose the best frames and pricing for my father without any pressure. We received two pairs of glasses with excellent quality and an amazing price. If you want a truly special and professional experience, we highly recommend visiting this clinic and store. Our entire family and friends will definitely continue shopping here!

  If you want to be treated FAIRLY, do NOT come to this clinic. The doctor here is kind, patient, and professional, but the rest of the staff — INCLUDING THE MANAGER — were incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I wanted to purchase contact lenses, they ONLY showed me the MOST EXPENSIVE option at full price. The moment I hesitated because of the cost, they suddenly said they could offer a discount. If a discount was available all along, WHY hide it until the customer pushes back? It honestly felt like they were just trying to squeeze as much money out of me as possible. The insurance handling was an ABSOLUTE MESS. They submitted my claim under the WRONG CATEGORY (“special vision benefit”) instead of contact lens coverage, which caused my insurance company to deny it. Then they confidently told me my contact lens exam was NOT COVERED and pressured me to pay out of pocket myself. Thankfully, I called my insurance company directly — and guess what? My plan DOES cover both regular eye exams and contact lens exams. The clinic staff simply submitted the claim incorrectly. I then asked them to reverse the incorrect claim and resubmit it properly. They told me it had already been reversed and asked me to pay again, so I did. Later that same evening, I contacted my insurance company AGAIN and found out they had NEVER actually reversed the claim. The insurance company clearly explained that the provider MUST CALL THEM DIRECTLY to reverse a claim — it CANNOT simply be done through their computer system. The clinic NEVER made that call. When I called back to explain this, the staff kept insisting they had “already handled it,” even though the insurance company had literally confirmed otherwise. They REFUSED to listen, REFUSED to acknowledge their mistake, and just kept repeating themselves. Then they told me I would have to wait until the following Monday to MAYBE get it resolved. At that point, I was beyond frustrated. I raised my voice because I was tired of being ignored and misled, and instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, THEY HUNG UP ON ME. The entire experience was exhausting, stressful, and incredibly disappointing. The staff showed ZERO accountability and ZERO professionalism. I am only giving 1 star because the optometrist himself was genuinely kind and patient, and I do not want him to be negatively affected by the behavior of the rest of the staff.
