Super friendly staff. I went there with my daughter almost at closing time and they were happy to help without rushing us. I wanted a specific shape for my glasses frames and Lorena helped me search the entire store until we found exactly what I was looking for. I feel very happy and satisfied with the service. I would totally recommend them

I returned to this store today expecting the same positive experience I had last year, but I was met with complete indifference and blatant favoritism. I tried to get a female staff member’s attention to ask a simple question about the location of a frame. I had to say "Excuse me" multiple times before she even acknowledged my presence. Even more frustrating was witnessing her proactively approach and offer help to a Caucasian customer while she was already assisting someone else, yet she completely ignored me. When she finally spoke to me, she dismissively said she “couldn’t help” and didn’t even point me in the right direction. Don’t want to come back again.

I had a great experience at LensCrafters in Winnipeg! I went in with a pair of sunglasses that needed repair, and to my surprise, they fixed them free of charge. Jiselle was especially helpful—she was friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The overall customer service was excellent. It’s rare to see this level of care and honesty these days. Highly recommend visiting them if you need eyewear or repairs!

I’ve been purchasing my glasses from this store for several years now, and I’ve always been very happy with both the quality and the service. I recently ordered a new pair, and once again, everything was excellent. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and truly care about their customers. I feel safe. Special thanks to Dominica for the outstanding service! She always knows what I need😁. Very attentive and professional. Highly recommend!👍

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
