- THTracy HowardJan 26, 20265.0I typically don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with Dr. Rojeh Melikian, a spine surgeon. I visited him for what turned out to be a herniated disk pressing on a nerve in my left leg. His office promptly scheduled my appointment, and he recommended an MRI on December 30, 2025. Fortunately, with his guidance I was able to get the MRI that same day at one of the two locations he suggested, even though they informed me that results wouldn’t be sent until after the New Year and that I was the last patient of the year. I followed his advice to contact him directly via the email he had provided to let him know I was able to get the MRI that day. To my surprise, he accessed my MRI results the very next day and reached out with treatment options. He had already prescribed steroids and mentioned the possibility of an epidural, which I scheduled after our discussion. Dr. Melikian is incredibly attentive; he even called to check on my recovery after the procedure. If only all doctors demonstrated such genuine care for their patients! I’m so happy I found this doctor whom I trust with my spinal needs. Finding a doctor you can trust with such a complicated and sensitive area is very hard, especially when you are as picky as I am.

He is extremely patient and thorough while explaining my upcoming procedure. I am confident and less anxious now going into my proposed surgery. My pain management physician, Dr. Danan, helped me find him and I am so thankful that I am in such good hands. I conducted over six months of reasearch before scheduling my appointment with Dr. Melikian. The entire office is efficient and quick to return my calls.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. Melikian, both at the DISC surgery center, and both surgeries have had marked results. I was feeling great within a week post op, using no pain medications, and have regained a lot of mobility. The center and his office is the cleanest I have ever seen and the nurses and assistants are very kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. It has been a great experience and very helpful in getting me more mobile and physical. Dr. Melikian is understanding of my desire to gain back strength and agility and always recommends a conservative approach. Overall, I cannot speak higher of Dr. Melikian or his office and staff.
