  I have always had an excellent experience at this location except for today 10/19/2025 at around 2pm. I’m not one to complain but my daughter was with me and she also noticed the behavior of the employee and that is what led me to write this review. We walked in and browsed around for a little while thinking it was weird no one was in the store but us. After a min or two my daughter noticed an employee at the register on his phone. I approached him and asked about a protein product I saw online that contained several different flavors and he told me they didnt carry it in store. So I continued to browse. Not even upset that he didnt suggest any other similar products or offer to help look for anything in specific. I proceed to the register with my selections to pay (which included a clearance item with a bright orange sticker on the front). When I see my total balance I tell him about the sale price on the sticker and he then proceeds to fix the price all while yawning the entire time..no apologies for the mistake..I mention the clearance price is probably due to the expiration date is soon. Not a peep, like I was talking to a wall. I notice little clear plastic cups with lids by the register all labeled with a flavor and ask what those are. He tells me mid yawn they are samples for a bcaa supplement or something. Idk if they were free or for sale 🤷🏻‍♀️ he assumed I wasn’t interested I guess. He asks if I want my receipt and I say yes. He yanks the receipt out of the printer hands it to me and I say thank you and he responds with uhuh. Like sorry to inconvenience you at work by coming in and buying something while you’re at work…how inconsiderate of me 🙄

  Zach and Presley outshine the rest of the employees at this location by a long shot in knowledge and customer service. They always help me look for the items I’m looking for while making suggestions along the way; suggestions that actually happen to be better and stick. These two guys alone have made me prefer the Manteca store over the ones in Stockton and Livermore. Give these two guys a raise. If anything, not only did they get me to switch to different brands but they also got me spending more, which I don’t mind because the items I purchase are helping me.

  Presley, Jesse, Chris, and Zach were so helpful!!! These guys are very knowledgeable in every aspect of fitness and nutrition. I was VERY IMPRESSED with their customer service and communication skills. I bought a flexstack hardcore and BCAA ripped, I'm down 30lbs of fat and I've gained 15lbs of muscle in 3 months! THANK YOU GNC!!!

  Very bad experience with customer service They just wanna sell you their expensive testosterone boosters You have to literally argue with them to buy the product you want And everything is overpriced

  I’ve been shopping at this same GNC for over 10 years. The employees are always knowledgeable, friendly, & helpful. This has always been my go to store for supps. Good owner, & good employees. Would definitely recommend!
