  Love this place! I have been using Stein Optometric Center for 8 years now. I would not go elsewhere for my eye care. Top notch service and products. Finding a perfect frame to fit your face can be tedious, but Jeanie has honed that skill to perfection. She has never steered me wrong. I always get compliments on the glasses she recommends. The service is personal. I feel like part of the family. Highly recommend SOC!!!

  Even though I live in San Francisco, I still come to Stein Optometric when I visit LA. They have a lot of frames to choose from and the service and doctors' care is great. I have been to other shops with lots of frames but no doctors. This place has the great frame selection of a high-end boutique as well as experienced and friendly doctors and staff. Great one-stop shopping. If you are like me, you have to try on almost ALL the frames in the shop before you settle on one or two. I would never buy a frame unless I had tried it on first. The staff here helps me try on all the frames I want without pressure. They will offer suggestions but never be pushy. Even more importantly, they will tell you honestly if a frame doesn't look good! In any case, I've been coming here for years and consistently get compliments on my glasses! p.s. The new remodel looks great!

  My entire family have been patients and customers here for many years and we really love this place! It has both the personality of a great neighborhood practice with the convenience of a shopping mall (i.e., open 7 days a week, late hours and easy parking). From the staff in the front to the optometrists in the back, everyone is wonderful. Dr. Jon Stein is exceptional, using a number of different tests and measurements to synthesize the perfect prescription. The store carries some of the best brand frames around, at a variety of price points from the more popular to the very high end. I also really appreciate their selection of kids frames, with so many great looking choices that my kids always look and feel stylish in their glasses.

  This was my second trip to Stein Optometrics. I had a nice experience the first time and wondered if they are still as pleasant. I needed a new pair of sun glasses; I remembered they have the best selection and any style, also the latest in designer's to suit any taste. They have a great staff of doctors, professional, cheerful and answered all my concerns I had with aging eyes, and of course the prescription for my new glasses. They even had someone truly talented and experienced assist you in choosing the right style for your face and budget. The technician who is brilliant, tweaks the glasses to suit your level of comfort. A truly satisfied customer. Thanks
