  Unless you’re looking to buy sunglasses only, stay away from this place. I don’t ever post reviews but I’m so appalled by Stein that I just had to put it out there in public interest. My 63 year old mother got her eye exam and prescription glasses made here, and despite two try’s and multiple visits, they made glasses that were unsatisfactory. She has since been struggling with blurred vision for 2 months and just got back from a leading neuro ophthalmologist, who tested her eyesight and lens to point out the grievous error committed by Stein optometric, which was that the glasses were numbered differently on paper than what the lens actually are. And not even a small difference that one may forgive as it’s 1.5 vs 3.0 of an impact in one of the dimensions. Stein kept insisting my mom’s blurred vision is due to her dry eyes instead of simply validating whether they made glasses as prescribed. I’ve lost all trust in them and am disgusted how they can be so incompetent to get lens made of a different number than what they themselves tested and documented in the prescription. I hope they realize how unprofessional and almost criminal they have been in committing such a mistake that left my mom struggling to see and has caused excessive strain on her.

  I've been going to Stein for my exams for almost 15 years. Their exam equipment is really high end. The best part is getting the retinal images at every exam so the doctor has a record of any changes. No corrective lenses needed yet, but I always leave with a pair of sunglasses (no joke - see the photo). The staff is always very helpful - Jeannie and Lauren stand out as they can walk right up to the frame board and pick one out and it looks perfect on you first try. My guess is that they have more sunglasses on display than a Sunglass Hut.

  Lots of mistakes and laziness - had one appointment and got 2 pairs of glasses and contacts. Staff didn’t care much about customer service or accurate billing and doctor only cared if I knew his name. They changed the name recently to that doctor’s name but he’s not the optometrist you will see. He passed away and they didn’t tell me my future appointment was with someone else because they clearly prioritized keeping the business other than putting the effort into keeping their patients informed to make the best decisions. I’ll never go back here.

  Great experience with Noah! They fixed my sunglasses for free and did it in a flash!!! These guys are experts and super friendly.
