I took D’Andre’s heated C2 flow at CorePower Manhattan Beach, and it was one of those classes that stays with you…not just physically, but internally. This is an intermediate class in both heat and movement. The music set the tone right away, starting with “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield and building from there (BIG smile). From the beginning, D’Andre framed the practice around calm as the foundation — not calm as stillness, but calm carried through dynamic movement. What stands out the most is the pacing. The sequence kept changing just enough that you couldn’t go on autopilot. I noticed my own tendency to want to memorize and “take over,” and that simply just wasn’t possible here. It became a presence game: Stay with the breath, stay with what’s actually happening. Throughout the class, D’Andre kept pointing us toward the balance between effort and ease. In the longer holds and closing poses, he emphasized steady breath as we moved deeper — finding the edge and softening into it at the same time. His guidance was definitely speaking to something deeper than just physical form, and it was a reminder that the breath naturally points us toward our higher qualities, on and off the mat. Simply put: This is an equanimity practice — and the breath is the bridge to that balance. Practical notes: Plenty of mall parking, free blocks and straps, lockers with built-in locks, water station; plus showers and amenities like deodorant, mouthwash, Q-tips, and hair dryers. Fun note: It happened to be my 555th class at CorePower (such a fun milestone)!

Great studio, my only thing I would change is if they could do a quick mop in between classes. I pretty much always come into class and there’s a puddle of sweat from the class before 😟

I absolutely couldn’t wait for this studio to open. It was definitely worth the wait. It’s a beautiful new studio in an amazing setting. Plenty of free parking and lots of useful places around from coffee to CVS. The studio manager Grace is fantastic. She’s an amazing instructor and does a terrific job as manager. The other instructors there round out a great team. I love love Jordan’s Sculpt class. She’s fun, tough and kicks our butts. Definitely my favorite studio in LA.

Had the pleasure of visiting Manhattan Beach Core Power studio. Love the "newness" of the studio & the facilities and really like the location. The parking is very convenient , plentiful, and lots of covered spaces. The studio is located a few stores away from the Manhattan Village entrance closest to the covered parking structure. great , big signage outside 'Core Power Yoga' , easy to find. The studio is clean and it still smells brand new! The bathroom+shower facilities are modern, clean and spacious There are 2 yoga studios inside with infrared light, weights , blocks and mats if you need. I appreciated having a water station with alkaline water available as well. It's nice to have your choice of many lockers, shoe cabinets and even a few benches to sit and put your footwear back on comfortably. I took a morning sculpt class with Jaclin and although she was tough and the class was difficult , her energy and positive vibes were contagious and appreciated ❤️🙏 Very thankful that I visited this studio and looking forward to taking more classes when I'm in California

Excited to have a new CPY in MB! They are the best yoga studio by far. Does anyone know when it will be opening?
