- JEJeremy Evans2 days ago1.0Long lines, always 8-10 people ahead of me, tried calling about a RX for 3 days. They never answer the phone. Switching to Dwayne’s Pharmacy in Bishop. They have great reviews. The time I spend in line or calling Vons will be the same time it takes to go to Bishop. Like everything in Mammoth, it’s for the tourist, not locals.
- YYYasmineJan 3, 20261.0Never, ever, EVER answers their phone. EVER!!!! And if they do, they put you on hold until the phone hangs up. When I go to type in my RX refill, the automated voice robot says unable to verify number. I barely have time to pick up medication, let alone wait in their line. I get off work right before they close. Been having horrible withdrawals to my medication because of lack of response. Not to mention they were closed the last few days because of holidays. Even I have to work on holidays, including Christmas, but a pharmacy holding everyone in town’s medication can choose to close??

The Doctor ordered prescription for our baby mid-day Monday, we went in Wednesday afternoon and it still wasn’t ready. They were closed Thursday but said they would be open Friday. I went back Friday to find a hand written note saying they were closed. My husband went back Saturday and waited 40 minutes and not one person in line was helped or even acknowledged what so ever. I will try again Monday. Can’t believe it will take a full week (if we’re lucky) to fill an infants prescription.
- BSBrooke SchraderDec 15, 20251.0Vons pharmacy USED to be great. It’s now a nightmare and all we got. —Would be nice if they ever answered the phone, it’s been terrible the last 2 years+. No one answers, even providers struggle to get ahold of them, then I was instructed to leave a voicemail to refill a prescription… if it wasn’t full. Or you’d get the rare time someone would answer and you’d get hung up on if you got placed on hold or disconnected due to waiting for so long. To request a refill of specific medications that are on file you have to physically go wait in the 30 minute line just to do it all over again whenever ready, and hopefully it’s in stock. I was even refused a prescription refill by a traveling pharmacist because there was no physical address on file?! Even though we utilize PO Boxes, and have never in the 13+ years of taking the medication had an issue. I understand the growing pains and staffing issues, but the progress of fixing some of these issues, especially knowing rite aid was going out of business, is mind blowing to not be a priority.
