I want to give them 10 stars.
A location, particularly a multi-location org like a Warby Parker, is only as good as the people in the local store. You can have awesome products, awesome locations, but if the people aren't the right fit - it won't work.
I needed something particular that's relatively new and hard to get. My Optometrist wasn't able to get it.
Google returned Warby Parker. I knew WP as a web brand, did not realize there were local stores. I generally prefer local mom-and-pop types, but given the difficulty in getting what I need, I decided maybe the nationwide brand would have better luck.
I made an appointment online and they had near immediate availability. Amazing. I'm used to waiting weeks.
Arrive I am immediately greeted by a super friendly person at the door. This is exactly how you do it. I've never been in, have no idea what to do - someone greets me and guides me through the process. Perfect.
The woman was super kind, super understanding, immediately put me at ease, answered all my nervous/silly questions. Gets me over to the Optometrist promptly.
Optometrist. Also, outstanding personality, easy to work with, entertains my nervous and silly questions without any sense of annoyance. Genuinely seemed happy to help me. In this era of disdain for the customer, it was such a super welcome change.
I had a follow up appointment. Again, Optician who greeted me, though the store was packed, was super helpful. Apologized for the near-nothing wait, quickly got me through to the Optometrist.
The Optometrist was a 4th different person, but no change at all in the experience. Super cheerful, seemed genuinely happy to help me. Answered all my questions. Kept me at ease.
Got me back out to the staff quickly to wrap up what I needed to order. Order was easy, I had great guidance on options.
I could not have asked for a better experience. 15/10 recommend this location. Make the appointment, you will NOT be disapointed.
