When I entered, there were about five employees on the floor and no other customers. I spent a noticeable amount of time browsing, but no one acknowledged me—no greeting, no check-in, nothing. Shortly after, another customer (who was white) walked in and was immediately welcomed and assisted. The difference in how we were treated was immediate and hard to overlook. This wasn’t a matter of the store being busy or staff being unavailable. It was an empty store with multiple employees present, yet the level of attentiveness shifted depending on who walked through the door. Experiences like this don’t feel accidental—they raise real concerns about bias in how customers are approached. If you take a look at the lower-rated reviews, you may notice similar patterns being called out. Overall, this left a poor impression and doesn’t reflect the kind of inclusive customer experience I would expect. Absolutely would not recommend this location based on this experience.
