Back in November, my doctor referred me for physiotherapy treatment.
In December, my insurance company approved this and sent the documents to me and my doctor.
My doctor faxed my permission to ucla. I called the UCLA, and they told me they hadn't received it. The fax was forwarded several times. Nothing worked. After that, the documents were sent by mail (both by my doctor and by me).
They received them and called to say that they finally had everything they needed and that they would call me back within two days. Six days have passed, and they still haven't called.
I called again today, and they told me that they hadn't received anything and couldn't explain anything.
So thank you for wasting 2.5 months of my time. Thank you for getting a lot of money and not doing anything. Thank you for pushing a person who is already depressed even more.
I have been to UCLA rehabilitation a few times to assist with recovery from injuries. I can imagine that they are okay with assisting people and getting back to basic functionality, but if you are someone who is athletic in any sense, they really don't hit. The mark. Sessions are only half an hour which never feels long enough, will give you exercises to do at home, they do very little to explain what exactly is going wrong and how the exercises are meant to be correct of therapy. I don't think I've ever come away from UCLA rehab. Thinking what they have offered husband as helpful as just letting time rest. Make things better. I still don't feel any more clued in as to what is wrong with my body, and I feel pretty deflated.

Wanted to share our 5-star experience with Ms. Sahar - a physical therapist for newborns at this facility. My daughter had a case of torticolis so we went to physical therapy for her to improve her range of motion and flathead. It was weekly for 4 months and Ms. Sahar was our primary therapist. She gave us the tools to improve our daughter’s condition and we saw the results right away. Her strategies and guidance with specific exercises has helped us immeasurably at home and our daughter had no more flathead and no need for the helmet. Not only did she help our firstborn in 2024, but those same exercises we videotaped back then has helped us with our newborn to avoid any issues in 2025. We’re so grateful for her grace, expertise, and assistance. Thank you UCLA- please show her this review!
