Edited to Add: Someone is still illegally modifying this chart report as of July 22, 2025. Unfortunately, the doctors do not appear to know that your profile sends you an email notice when charts have been modified or updated. UCLA has been under investigation for fraud since around June 21 for what has occurred.
It should be noted I was quickly diagnosed via a small private hospital with isolated segmental kidney failure while UCLA was covering up diagnostic malfeasance.
The Director of Nuclear Medicine should be fired. He falsified my mag3 report because I complained they did not do the order and failed to address a failed kidney moiety. He then decided to go in and try to remove the language that states "left kidney delayed extraction/excretion consistent with compromised renal function" when I noticed they did not breakdown a function percentage for each moiety, as I have duplex ureters and renal divisum. He was unsuccessful, and simply tried to reiterate his belief I am normal. He can not assess this with the current scan, as he simultaneously also told me that it is "impossible" to assess all moiety function. If that is the case he can NOT also assess that it is normal. Wildly absurd. Further, assessing moiety function for all moieties in duplex ureters is a *normal routine practice* for actual leading hospitals, such as Cleveland Clinic, UCSF, and Mayo. How do I know it is possible? I have a scan from 2015 that does just that.
I have never seen a more immoral or incompetent hospital system in my life. Diagnosed with rare renal divisum (an embedded kidney inside of a kidney), I have been to many providers before receiving proper diagnosis and treatment and have NEVER seen such corruption. My informed consent was taken as I waited 5 weeks for what I and many Urologists consider a routine order for function of my kidneys. The doctor was not qualified to assess renal anamolies, having ordered a scan to assess all 4 moieties unwittingly not knowing UCLA is, apparently, incapable of this? Nuclear Medicine Director informed me of his department's "impossible" stance on 5/30, and then the doctor confirmed this in writing on 6/2, days AFTER the scan.
Now there is institutional cover-up, I've written 1. The doctor 2. The radiologist 3. The Director of Nuclear Medicine 4. The President 5. Legal 6. The Vice Chancellor. There was institution-wide cover-up of failure to notify me they can't do the scan as ordered and the falsification of my report.
None of these people should be involved in your health, it appears they have no problem lying about standard medical practices in order to limit their own liability for lying about their capabilities and falsifying documents to cover it up.
Edit: UCLA had MANY opportunities to speak to me about this issue. I am uninterested in reaching out to anyone further after trying to receive intervention from no less than 8 people, including the President who *wrote me back* that that the head of Patient Relations would be in touch with me. Guess who never even bothered to reach out? I have all this extremely documented. Just went to another uro yesterday who said the scan was *clinically irrelevant* without lasix.
DO NOT GO HERE and UCLA, SHAME ON YOU for telling me you want to discuss this further. You have my number. Use it.
