My UCLA doctor referred me to UCLA transplant center and later someone nice called me and scheduled me for an appointment in December. Yesterday a guy called me âJFâ are his initials, saying that they need to make sure that I can afford the surgery and ongoing treatment for a kidney transplant, he sent me a form requiring all banking and asset information so that they can decide whether I am a good candidate for a kidney transplant, Cedars just asked for my age, height and weight. Do the math! UCLA is all about the money, not saving human lives! I have been a UCLA patient for 52 years and this is what I get đ
I declare under penalty of perjury that this review is true and correct

The whole kidney transplant team is truly amazing!!!
UCLA Medical Center was recommended to me by a friend for my kidney situation in 2013; and I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful the Connie Frank Kidney Transplant Center and my doctors have been to me. Beginning with check-in, you can tell the teams work cohesively together to deliver top notch care. My social worker, coordinator, nurses, surgeon have all been fantastic. Dr. Erik Lum is amazing!!! His is so thorough and smart. His attention to detail is remarkable. He knows his stuff! I look forward to my visits with him. He treats you like you are his only patient. My Nephologist, Dr. Reza Khorsan is also outstanding.
Prior to my transplant, he montiored my kidney disease with vigulance. He's been my doctor since 2013. Obviously, having a kidney transplant was scary and unnerving for me, but the care I've received at this transplant center has eased my anxiety because I know I am in good hands. UCLA Medical Center, overall, has provided me with exemplary care and service. I highly recommend them for your healthcare, particularly for kidney care.
