  Clean, convenient location on UCLA campus, 2nd floor Ackerman. Easy to make an appointment over the phone and they also do walk-ins. Takes about 30-40 minutes total (paperwork and all) for blood donation. Platlet donation takes about 2 hours total. Comfy chairs for either donation, platlet donations get a personal TV with headphones and an AppleTV to watch movies. All rooms are private from the bustle of Ackerman and donations are incentivized with movie tickets, 4 hrs of comp time (for UCLA employees), or other incentives they are offering. Go donate, it feels great! UCLA Ronald Reagan has a level 1 trauma center, so you know your donation is saving lives!
