I'm sorry, I went to this center for a blood test. Unfortunately, I didn't take my medication. I waited for an hour and a half because I was fasting. Every time I asked, he said, "Yes, of course." I went home back in so sad that was not fair besid that I had heard open surgery who doesn’t care this place zero

I have small veins, no other tech would assist my technician that was having difficulty locating my veins. Also, I was told that they didn’t have any butterfly needles but once it got to my third stick, they brought out a butterfly needle I believe thatif they would’ve used the butterfly needle from the beginning my blood could have been drawn Instead of waiting two hours And spending $20 for nothing to happen.
Worst experience ever! Very condescending attitude. Waited weeks for a 10:10 morning appointment. Rep asked, what the doctor's name? Me: I don't remember. Rep: I can't help you if you don't communicate with your doctor. Me: I have seen 5 different doctors in the past 2 weeks. Rep: Not my problem, love Me: Let me check my app. Rep: No, I don't have time for that, love. Plus, you're not here early enough to make all the doctor's requests. You need to be here between 7-9. Me: What, I haven't eaten since yesterday evening. Rep: Again, not my problem you don't know how to communicate with your doctor, love. What about Dr. Tawny? Me: Who? Rep: Go collect for the urine test and place the cup here when you're done. (Handed me a cheap plastic picnic cup, not even properly sealable,) In the bathroom I checked my Cedar's Sinai app. She was referring to the second doctor's lab request by her 'first' name. I found the Rep where I had to place the Dixie cup of urine. I told her, you're right the doctor's name is Tawny and she did request these 2 tests. (Showing her the app.) Rep: Sit down and wait. I waited about 15 minutes and then another Rep was passing by. And the first rep who helped me said, deal with her, I'm done. The 2nd rep said to me, we are done with you and you need to make another appointment because police is we don't do tests, when you don't know your doctor's name and we don't stick twice in the same day. Again, it's policy and you need to leave.
What gives anyone the right to talk to someone like that?
The next 8:00 am appointment is available on May 14 for the test one that needs to be administered between 7-9 am. Dr. Tawny will have to wait until a month after my required April 15 follow up visit.
Rude, condensing, unprofessional, unsanitary urine cups, group of individuals. Most disrespectful service I have ever experienced in my entire life. Now my health is put on hold until May 14, which is NOT THEIR PROBLEM!

Yesterday I went to the Quest in Inglewood...NEVER AGAIN WITHOUT AN APPT. I repeat if you're going to that Inglewood Quest, I strongly strongly, strongly suggest you make an appointment. It was crazzzzzyyyyy. I got there at 1pm and didn't get seen until 430pm. So they couldn't do all by Labs. So today I came to this Culver City location. Got here at 115pm. They called me at 146pm. Thats a reasonable wait time without an appointment. Even an hr or so is understandable. I'm a very patient person. But it was the h e pure chaos of the situation that disturbed me. The Inglewood location has alot of special needs ppl and older people. The kiosk wasn't working properly. The internet wasn't working and there was no one there to manage things for the patients. AUTOMATION is great when it WORKS...but AUTOMATION not properly working + elderly people is a disaster waiting to happen. It raises tempers, blood pressures, and other aggravation. Especially, if ppl are already not feeling well 😕. We get it, we're all at the mercy of the medical professions bullcrap...step it up folks!!! After all somewhere along the way we all paid for health care...

Always make an appointment. If you try to do a walk-in you might end up waiting a long time because they can get booked and very busy.
I would like to give a higher rating because I've always had really nice staff that always accomadates my needs. I have very small veins and get squemish and can pass out if I keep getting poked. But the ladies here are always able to keep me comfortable and get the blood samples. They work hard and are good at their jobs, and my criticisms are aimed at Quest corporate rather than the great staff actually working this place.
That being said, I think the lack of a receptionist really downgrades the patient experience. It feels a bit dehumanizing to only have a kiosk to check into, and no person you can talk to from the waiting room if you have any questions. One time I visited, a man who was mentally unwell came in and threw food trash at a woman in the waiting room and it was up to the other patients to handle the situation. Only when someone was called to come into the back for their appointment, were we able to notify them that something happened.
