  I love Pause, hadn’t been in years, but just started going to the Brentwood location again. It’s such a peaceful vibe. All of their sauna rooms are clean and beautiful, booking is easy, and the experience itself is so calming cleansing and positive. Vanessa at the front desk is super helpful and sweet. Great customer service. Can’t wait to come back!

  I’ve always wanted to try a sensory deprivation tank float, and Pause made it easy. Pricing was clear in store, and I booked the same day. My mind runs fast, so removing all external stimulation sounded dreamy and a must-do experience. When I arrived on my Onewheel, Nina and the team said, “Wow, what an entrance!” They were sweet, inclusive, and warm. Vanessa was stellar. We connected over being detail-oriented, fast paced and loving eclectic experiences. She explained everything with such genuine enthusiasm and authenticity. It’s refreshing to see someone who loves their job and excited to offer these experiences to their community. On top of that, she was professional, easy to talk to, and flat-out hilarious. We even collaborated on what her next epic Halloween costume is going to be. Afterward, we laughed about how the float sensation is like how a baby feels in a womb, but this is like an adult womb and we talked about experimenting with different body positions. The float was wild in the best way. I spent about 30 minutes in stillness, then started experimenting fully stretched out, crisscross applesauce, and every position I could think of. I was gently bouncing off the walls of this magic giant egg. At one point, my arms were straight up and I still didn’t sink. Surreal. Not only did I have an amazing float experience, I left feeling like I found a little pocket of community. The people and the sensory deprivation tank are pure quality. I definitely recommend and want to go back.
