I love The Perfect Workout! I most often train with Todd, who is absolutely amazing, but I’ve also workout with several of the other trainers and they’ve all been fantastic. The workouts are efficient, effective, and I love that you can be in and out so quickly. Highly recommend!

I love Perfect workout! Albert is very knowledgeble and really knows his stuff. The environment is cozy and not at all "Gym " like. I appreciate the personal attention. My bones and muscles are much stronger then when I first started a few years ago. The 20 minute sessions are "pefect" for me. I highly reccommend. : )

I have been here for almost 5 years. First came here with a hip that needed to be replaced. I was in such great shape after my hip replacement ( thanks to Perfect Workout) that I waterskied 3 months after the surgery. I’m lazy and the Perfect Workout staff push me to get results!

I’m another long-term Perfect Workout client: I’ve been exercising here with the wonderful Albert for the better part of a decade. I am NOT a consistent worker-outer, but this method—and this place’s delightful staff—is the one thing I’ve stuck to; as a result, I’m still flexible and strong at 75. Cannot recommend highly enough. Many thanks to Albert and all the lovely people at Perfect Workout!

I honestly don’t get the hype around The Perfect Workout. They have a bunch of 5-star reviews, but my experience at the Sewtelle location left me baffled. I was ready for the intro class to take about 40 minutes, and I even checked in online ahead of time so I wouldn’t waste a second. Spoiler alert: I still wasted a ton of time. I wasted an hour of driving for 10 min chat and walk through their "gym" and 9 minute workout! Yes, I counted. And that 9 min included time moving from room to room, setting up machines to my body's parameters and instructions from instructor all in 9 minutes! Riley, my trainer, was… well, let’s just say I’ve had more welcoming interactions with my Roomba. No smile, no friendliness, zero personality. I expect my personal trainer to act like they enjoy human interaction, not like they’re calculating how fast they can get me out the door. She didn’t offer a single tip tailored to me - not even when I mentioned my injuries. There was no plan, no personalization, nothing that made me feel like I was getting a “personal” workout. Honestly, it felt like I was just another number being shuffled through a generic script, and if friendliness and guidance were part of the job description, she must have skipped that day in training. The facility itself is not a gym. It's a set of tiny offices and you move from one room to another. Each room has 2-3 machines and it's claustrophobic. There is no basic amenities you could expect from a workout place - no changing room, no shower, no place to safely store your valuables. Don’t get me wrong - the concept of slow-motion strength training is scientifically solid. But you can literally do the same thing in any real gym, with lockers for your valuables and a space that doesn’t make you feel like you’re sneaking around someone’s cubicle. I’m in my mid-40s and the youngest person there. I could see this working for seniors who are intimidated by typical gyms, but for me, it was a frustrating, awkward, and complete waste of time. PS THIS IS RESPONSE TO GENERIC AL RESPONSE THIS BUSINESS POSTED UNDER MY ORIGINAL REVIEW... That response actually reinforces my original issue. The problem was not that the workout is short or that the space is small by design. I understood the concept going in and was open minded about it. The issue was the execution! The purpose of the intro session itself should be typical full workout (full 20min) and a 9 min intro does not come close to providing a realistic feel for the actual experience. It doesn't allow you to reach the level of intensity, fatigue, or post workout effects that are central to this method. As a result, it's impossible to evaluate whether the program is a good fit before committing. More importantly, personalization was talked about but not demonstrated. I specifically mentioned injuries and received zero tailored guidance, cues, or modifications. That is the core value proposition of personal training, regardless of the protocol. Precision and coaching only matter if they are actually delivered. I'm glad this model works well for your existing members. My review reflects my real experience so others can decide if it aligns with what they're looking for. For me, it did not. I would also encourage The Perfect Workout to actually read and engage with customer feedback with understanding rather than responding defensively with what feels like a generic AI reply. A thoughtful response that directly addresses the specific concerns raised would go much further than a polished but impersonal explanation of your business model. Feedback like this is an opportunity to improve the experience, not just to restate your marketing talking points!

Frequently Asked Questions About The Perfect Workout

This sounds too good to be true – Great results in 20 minutes, twice a week?

We understand the skepticism surrounding a 20-minute exercise routine. It goes against the grain of traditional beliefs. The truth is, if you’re doing more exercise than needed, your workout may not be intense enough. With many traditional methods, a lot of time spent during your workout is “rest time.” More rest during a workout can reduce muscle growth and cardiovascular impact. So you can either work hard during exercise, or you can work out for a long time – but you can’t do both. Intensity is key if you want to effectively boost your metabolism, improve VO2 max, and not only build lean muscle but support your skeletal health. Our approach is not only unique, it’s grounded in research. We train all major muscle groups through 5-8 exercises with minimal rest between sets. Our method and technology provide the perfect resistance for every exercise, eliminating virtually any risk of injury. So you’ll spend your sessions burning more fat and building more strength than traditional weight training. But don’t take our word for it! Come in for your own free Introductory Session. Experience the methodology first-hand, without any obligation.
