- AJAlex JaggardMar 4, 20262.0I came to this location, because of the convenience and Dr. Lam’s great reviews. Dr. Lam was not at the location, which was a little disappointing to start my visit. Staff up front were nice and welcoming, but the insurance verification system was down for me and another customer (so I had to pay cash). I had to stop the exam half way through, because both lenses I was looking through were noticeably smudged/dirty, which put all of my previous responses in doubt. We did not restart the exam. That also made me worry that the chin and forehead rests were dirty - I didn’t see them wiped down to start my exam. After we finished the Dr stated my long distance only needed minor correction and when I stated that the letters across the room were clear for one eye, but the other was totally blurred, she said that’s fine the two will work together. My correction/prescription is relatively simple, but I’m strongly considering another exam at a different optometrist before I spend hundreds of dollars on new lenses.
