My doctor’s office called in my prescription because CVS has not been able to fill a medication I need due to a shortage in this specific medication for many months. So, they suggested I try Safeway or Walgreens. The pharmacist on duty(Ashley) was unprofessional with the doctor’s staff and then extremely rude to me when I called. I took my business to Walgreens in Lodi. My prescription was filled and I was treated kindly. I will add that the head pharmacist at Safeway called me back and did apologize for my bad experience. She was very nice. I was thinking that they must not need customers if this is how we are treated. I will still grocery shop there, but I will no longer get vaccines or attempt to establish business with this pharmacy ever again. I forgot to add that the pharmacist also insisted on getting my clinical notes for ADHD medication which my doctor’s office said is against the HIPAA laws. I noticed that this happened to another patient in another review on here as well.
