The phlebotomist did not know how to properly draw blood. She did not follow procedure. First she left the tourniquet on the entire blood draw, and then she kept attempting to straighten my arm by pushing up on my elbow and hyper extending my arm. My arm was straight, there was no need to do that. She is a liability to the lab. And bruised me as a result of her action. She did the same thing to a friend of mine as well and my friends arm was swollen and bruised all around her elbow. She caused her hemoconcentration and injured her as well as me. Not only does this cause pain and discomfort, it can skew the laboratory results. This is completely unacceptable for patients.
It also took me over one month to get an appointment for a fasting blood draw. I did multiple walk ins and sat for hours fasting for them to come out and refuse to see walk ins. This location is poorly ran and managed and the phlebotomist my friend and I both had was not competent.
My visit was the worst experience I have ever had.
1. After the staff called my name, I handed her the blood test form. She merely glanced at it and claimed it did not specify which tests were required. I then pointed out the clearly marked checkboxes next to the relevant items—she simply had not looked carefully.
2. She then asked for the doctor’s name, even though the doctor’s and hospital’s details were clearly printed at the top left corner of the form, obvious to anyone at a glance. Given her earlier behavior, I doubt she asked for verification purposes. Sure enough, after I pointed it out, she complained that the font was too small to read.
3. Due to the specific nature of my test, I had to go on that day, a Saturday, and no other location had availability. This forced me to choose a location 45 minutes away from home. Upon arrival, I urgently needed to use the restroom. When she called me in and I handed her the form, I immediately asked if I could use the bathroom first. She ignored my request and proceeded with the two questions mentioned above. After answering them, I asked again if I could use the restroom, only for her to stop what she was doing and tell me I had to wait until she finished verifying all the information. Using the restroom would have taken just a few minutes—was it necessary to prevent me from going?
4. After drawing blood, her poor bandaging caused immediate bleeding as soon as I released pressure. Seeing this, she gestured for me to sit and wait while she went into another room diagonally opposite. I assumed she was washing her hands before attending to me, but I later saw her holding and discarding a paper cup, leading me to reasonably suspect she left a bleeding patient unattended to get a drink! Is that acceptable? I demand a proper explanation. When she finally returned to address the issue, she blamed me for not applying enough pressure on the needle site—wasn’t this directly caused by her improper bandaging? In all my years of getting blood drawn, properly applied bandages have always allowed me to release pressure immediately. As a result, I now have extensive bruising, swelling, and pain around the injection site. Last month, at another location, I had eight tubes of blood drawn without any such complications—this time, only one tube was taken, yet the outcome was far worse.
In summary, this staff member was negligent, careless, authoritarian, and devoid of basic professional ethics. Such conduct deserves strong condemnation.

The person that collected my labs was polite but the other 3 employees that I encountered were extremely rude. I had a scheduled appointment and sat in the waiting room for an hour while they took people that were scheduled after I was. This is not the first time that I have encountered rude staff at this location.
I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at this Quest Diagnostics location.
The “manager” on duty that day, Sameera, was rude and dismissive. I arrived around 2:20 PM and checked in as a walk-in. At approximately 3:00 PM, she came into the waiting area and announced that they were no longer accepting walk-ins for the day.
While I was finishing up some work and preparing to leave, I noticed that staff continued calling names from the walk-in list. When I checked the list, I realized my name had been removed, so I re-checked in. At that point, my name was second to last.
They then called the person whose name was after mine on the list, skipped me entirely, and told me they could not see me. When I calmly explained what had happened and asked for clarification, Sameera’s response was essentially “too bad, come back tomorrow,” with no explanation or attempt to resolve the issue.
The lack of consistency, transparency, and basic professionalism was unacceptable—especially in a healthcare setting. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this location to anyone. Management staff clearly need better training in patient communication, fairness, and basic customer service.
